LGBT Discrimination in Arizona

It's like Nazi Soup, you don't know how to make order, they refuse service you.

Your kind of people oppressed too many people who aren't like them for a long time and now people are taking a stand. No more.

You are only using this issue to espouse your intolerance and hatred of people of faith.

Clearly... We should all just go back to having separate drinking fountains for black people and women not being able to vote or work. We should be stay at home baby makers and make the men support us. After all, it IS the only way!

Also, we shouldn't wear mixed fabrics, men shouldn't be able to shave and lordy stone the people working Sundays! :laugh2: Where to start, where to start... :hmm:

Clearly, you don't understand what the Civil Rights Movement was about. For starters, it was never about sexuality, it was about race. Also, Homosexuals have never Constitutionally been considered 1/3rd human. They have never been denied the right to vote, they were never sold into slavery, and they never lived in a segregated community unless it was by their own choice.

So please, get off your high horse and stick to the actual facts ... like this one ...

Dr. Martin Luther King was a Baptist Preacher and one of the "real" Civil Rights Leaders - the movement you are alluding to - when you are using your movement to attack religion. :ty:

what you don't understand is that this is not a Christian country hence the separation of church and state. if you have a problem with it, you are free to establish a Christian compound with your own set of rules.

but when you set up a shop on public property to serve the public.... you'll have to abide by a common law. again - it's not illegal to refuse a service and no one is forcing you to bake a gay cake.

Another thing you do not understand, is that the "real" Civil Rights Leader, Dr. Martin Luther King has a daughter who is also a Baptist Minister. You might want to keep this in mind when alluding to the Civil Rights Movement, for future reference. The GLBT movement has tried very hard to latch on to this movement in their attempt to persecute Christians, and have neglected to mention that Dr. Martin Luther King was opposed to homosexuality as it is immoral. If he was alive today, he would be preaching AGAINST same sex marriage, exactly like his daughter is doing today.

I wrote that just in case you thought people were actually buying all this BS about the Civil Rights Movement.

Feel free to censor at will - it is the only weapon you have left.

"My father did not take a bullet for same sex marriage" - Dr. Bernice King

A letter written to Dr. Martin Luther King

I am a boy. But I feel about boys the way I ought to feel about girls. I don't want my parents to know about me. What can I do?

His reply

The type of feeling that you have toward boys is probably not an innate tendency, but something that has been culturally acquired. You are already on the right road toward a solution, since you honestly recognize the problem and have a desire to solve it.

Meh, we didn't ask for a war... we asked for equality. You're turning our request for equality and to be treated with respect into a war, not the gay community.

However, if you must term it as a "war", we're still winning. :D

BOOM.... :laugh2:

You are actually losing ....

Just in case you didn't get the memo .... it is illegal to harass someone because of their religion.

I would like to thank those in the GLBT camp on this forum for making something crystal clear. This movement of yours has nothing at all to do with equality. Rather, it serves as a bully pulpit for your platform to espouse hatred ignorance and lies and call it the Civil Rights Movement.

*chuckling* oh dear oh dear..... bless thy heart... we both know you have a very strong tendency to distort and misinterpret things when things don't go your way. your refusal to accept the facts and reality is very worrisome... I hope it's not a symptom of underlying mental illness.

No, i dont hate people of faith. I don't respect people who force their beliefs on others, who discriminate, whose bigotry causes pain and suffering for others. Your people aren't people of faith....your people are people who think it is OK to discriminate whether they are religious or not.

I don't hate anyone..just hate the bigotry views that hurt and oppress people that's all.

Nice try

'Who am I to judge?': The pope's most powerful phrase in 2013'Who am I to judge?': The pope's most powerful phrase in 2013
Pope Francis said this , he does feel her has a right to judge people for who they love. The Pope is higher than Dr. King was.

This is where you are grievously wrong ... yet again, and where your argument falls apart.

Racist laws were passed by using "scientific research" of the time. In Loving v Virginia, the inter racial couple were challenging a law that was passed in 1923 that was a result of the eugenics movement. The eugenics movement was a direct result of research done by Charles Darwin's brother. Even in "On the Origin of the Species" Darwin wrote that there were different races as a result of differing paces of evolution. In other words, those racist laws that were written into existence were a result of the thought process that one race was superior to another race. The racist laws were not written into existence by Republicans, they were written into law by segregationist Democrats. The same Democrats that fought religion in the Scopes-Monkey trial.

So ... try again ...

I came into existence by a process called "zygote" which was a direct result of my parents' marriage. The ONLY definition of marriage.

When you try to redefine something into what it is not, it is not surprising that you will also try to rewrite history.

When was marriage created? I'm trying to grasp religious peoples argument that it's not marriage. I do not follow the bible or any other religion I'm straight myself, and only view the word Marry as one unit Sorry but the word marry also means

"combination or mixture of two or more elements."

Does not define between woman and man only. Marry means other things the dictionary. I'm missing something am I? As far as those two elements composed to make two humans and they're joined to make one is called a marriage if they don't meet the criteria of the first definition with man and woman.

English folks are quite tricky buggers with all loopholes.

Like forcing a person of faith to participate in a same sex wedding?

Like firing a person of faith because they don't agree with same sex marriage, or signed a petition disagreeing with same sex marriage? (Dr. Angela McCaskill)

Yeah ... I don't have any respect for them either.

The oldest recorded marriage was between two Jewish families. It was an exchange between one son and one daughter. It was a religious ceremony, and the Abrahamic religions believe marriage was ordained by God and is between one man and one woman.

Marriage has always been a religious institution.
