They will and could if they have sufficient evidence to recover the stolen phone and arrest the thief, especially tracking iPhone is one of good example.

Other option, you could hire private investigator but they cost money.

If the cellular phone thief is on rise then police should do something about it. The smartphone cost about $400-850 and police don't care?

Got me wondering - sending it out WiFi securely? I mean, if somebody else nearby can access it without going thorugh security? Or can it enable the security?
 
I bought a 32GB iphone 5 at AT&T store in a mall today as my early xmas or birthday gift. I am happy with my new iphone 5. It is much better than my iphone 4. I am selling my iphone 4 to cashforphones.com for the maximum of $219.

Congrats, Oddball! I had updated new iPhone 5 last two month ago. I had sold iPhone 4 to eBay buyer at $271 last three week ago.

Wow. My iphone 4 has defunt home button. It didn't work. If my iphone 4 is in pristine condition, then i would sell it on ebay. Oh, well.

Yes, I still keep my grandfathered data plan. I don't trust mobile sharing plan after I read the brochure at ATT store or I don't want to shell out more money for limited data plan under TAP.

I don't care about FT over cellular because I don't use it during my working days. I only use it when I get home where WIFI is set up. Unless Cydia is ready to release iOS 6.0.1 jailbreak system, I consider about downloading it.

AT&T said that unlimited users might able to FaceTime over cellular as well, but it will take 8-10 weeks to do the transition. I don't worry about it. I use it at home and work in WiFi network. I don't know when will Cydia be release iOS 6.0.1 or 6.1 for iPhone 4S and 5. Let you know about it.
