More of what's wrong with America! Sick!

Sorry you feel that way.....I would never make fun of anyone in that manner.

Edit: I might add that I only had 3 posts in this entire thread.....Not sure how you came to the conclusion that I was laughing at you or making fun of you.

You just inserted the shocking smile and I just found something is wrong with my post.

it's a correct spelling.

I knew I was spelling properly but the quoted post had a different spelling.
Regardless, I'm still maintaining that post #120 answers your request.

that's fine. you can believe whatever you want.

Because I found sentence 2 shocking...

Ok, you know who really influence me? Someone from Gallaudet University.

One woman told us to not go off campus in street of DC during late night due to high crime, especially robbery. She said any students who go off campus during late night and being robbed so she said BLAME on student for loss of belong (wallet, car keys, student ID, etc) due to lack of responsibly or common sense, however doesn't blame on victim for crime.

For me, I'm seriously preventable person and doesn't want some of my belong (especially my wallet) to be gone from robbery. I almost got robbed by few poor people that attempt to touch my clothes so I threw $5 dollar out as run away to subway station.

Ok, now I understand why you said what you said.

I attended Gallaudet University too. I know just how crime ridden the streets are surrounding the campus. I, too, was almost robbed by a group of african american teenagers that walked up Florida Avenue right outside the campus.

.... they didn't rob me, I got away.

So yes, you are taking a risk of running into violent criminals in crime ridden hellholes such as some places in DC. That does not make it your fault if it happens to you - criminals need to be held completely accountable for their actions.

They need to pass legislation in DC allowing law abiding citizens to carry firearms as well as pass a SYG law.

Ridding the population of violent criminals is very important for a free society.

In bold, that's correct but some people can too tougher like saying BLAME on you for being victim from crime, sounds like tough sentence. I'm sorry about few of my post sounds like tough to you but I made mistake.

For last sentence, unfortunate, it doesn't happen in DC due to liberal climate and strongly anti-gun rights, even anti-gun law doesn't work in DC due to black market that where you can get firearm illegally. There are alternatives need to meet liberal's taste to reduce the crime, especially improve the police strategy and tactical to bust the crime but it could cost much taxes and take some years to be effective. I believe that US Supreme Court ruled that citizens in DC can own firearm as self defense at home and struck the gun ban law down. I support this case about self defense at home.

For SYG law - I have mixed feeling about this law and I think some of SYG laws are too liberal (more broader) like one in Florida. I like to make more conservative definition (more narrower, stricter) that crazy people can't use as SYG self defense if they decide to shoot someone that they don't like for no reason.

In red - I definitely agree with you there. SYG is only if you are being attacked and feel your life is in immediate danger.

Shooting someone simply because you don't like them is murder.

You know about CA is pretty anti-gun rights but crime rate in LA is declining as always, even in recession.

Los Angeles, California (CA) profile: population, maps, real estate, averages, homes, statistics, relocation, travel, jobs, hospitals, schools, crime, moving, houses, news, sex offenders

The crime rate in LA is below national average as well.

You know why? It is due to improve in police strategy and tactical.

DC is crap.

With all the repeated spelling/syntax errors you have made, (your in place of you're, among others) it would behoove you to resist the urge to point out other poster's obvious typing mistakes, especially when the keys "T" and "F" are neighbors. An uneducated man (me) could run out of red ink if I were to go grammar police around here...

I am sure you would make a fine grammar nazi.

Foxrac, I don't know what your particular learning problems are but I must say that I've always been impressed with your thoughtful consideration of topics. We don't always agree on your conclusions but I've respected the thought that you give to your statements. I know that you do your research on political and financial topics, especially about taxes. Sometimes you let your feelings rather than logic lead but I can still see that you have done some research first.

My only criticism would be is when you let loose with f-bombs or other rudeness in your replies. (Of course, you aren't the only one who does that, and I criticize them, too.)

Try not to take things too personally, and you will have less stress. Stress isn't good for anyone's health.

The Charles Bronson Act? :hmm:
