Remember the thread Gluten Free diet I posted? For those that read it...
Well, I don't know if it's still related to diet now ( the stomach issues ). I injured my hip on thursday went to doctor on friday and was told that the lower right abdominal pain I was having may be my appendix although I was sure it was from the hip injury. The doctor pressed on the area where the appendix is located and it was some what painful but we're unsure if it is or not and he wanted me to go to the ER if the pain got worse. It's now Sat and I'm doing ok. No pain around that area but then again I'm on lortab for the pain. I just finished eating and my stomach does hurt but its been that way for months now.
Anyone here have experience with the appendix? was it something that came on suddenly or was it gradual? I'm unsure of why it'd start hurting now since I injured my hip. I only tore a ligament...I had to run up hill quite a ways into the forest ( was deer hunting ) and if my appendix was already affected maybe the running and sudden stops and turns aggravated what was already there? I've always heard of the appendix is affected it's always an ER visit. This just doesn't sound "typical" to me. I don't think you can go months with an inflamed appendix but who knows, maybe I'm wrong.
I cannot afford to go to the ER anyways.
