Last Movie You Watched?

Tried to watch Gran Torino last night with son. For some reason, the filthy language was too much for me. I'm not really a prude, but does the "F" word have to be in every third sentence of a movie?

Inception (OC). Unfortunately they forgot to turn on captions for the first 5 minutes. At least they gave me a certificate for a free movie as apology. Good movie!
 
Alien - the original and its still freakn scary AND quite well written for a sci-fi,with all the chain of commands and sexism woven into the script i bloody love it

Saw this on Thursday with OC. Captions were played throughout the entire movie, but there were several scenes where the lightness/transparency of the captions made it impossible to read what was said against a light background. Grrrr!

But, I thought it was an awesome movie. A few years behind on the concepts (The Matrix, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of sleep, etc. have all explored the subject matter previously), but it was very well conceived and executed. It's a very complex movie and I don't think everyone will be able to follow it, but it was still exciting.

I plan to watch it again when it comes out on DVD.
 
Was watching Father of the Bride 1 and 2- still enjoyable!

A couple of Jack Nicholson's films....
 
I just saw Repo Men.

It was a good movie, but a bit predictable though.
 
Son asked to to ask - if anyone has seen Shutter Island, is it really scary? He doesn't mind some scary stuff, but he can't handle horror. We are going to see that on Deaf Movie night on 8/28.

Not scary. Just an odd twist at the end.
