AllDeaf who DON'T go to the World Expo, July 2010

Totally agree...there is so much to see and so much to do in Las Vegas that doesnt involve gambling. I have been there many times and I miss it.

That's true. There are cultures and subcultures within Las Vegas, and I don't know how to put it politely, but there is a high risk of getting infected with HIV if one is not extremely careful. Sorry to mention this...

This made me LOL.

Anyway, I wonder what it is like over there, but not curious enough to take days off work. I'd rather save them for a real vacation... like going to Alaska (going in August, whoo hoo!). I hope I pick up some Palin-isms. *wink*

Alaska? Damn you lucky! I have always wanted go up to Alaska, preferred driving up there during winter time. My wife thinks I am nuts.

We are taking a cruise. Im not a fan of cruises, but this will take us alongside the glaciers which is supposed to be very beautiful. I'm sure Alaska is awesome in the wintertime. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc etc. However, maybe your wife is questioning your ability to drive in the snow/icy roads.... :D

How in the WORLD do you make that leap???
I've had two friends who visited Las Vegas and got infected with the HIV virus, one a gawky tourist and the other a drug user, and I have heard that the HIV rates there is among the highest in the country.
Hmmm, you're right, maybe I better shaddup now.

Only if one has sex with strangers or share needles with people they dont know. Otherwise, the risks of getting HIV in Vegas are no more greater than in other places.

Anyways, my brother said the line to register for the Deaf Expo was over 3 hours!

i was looking around for net access in LV, aside from paying $10-15 a day at B class hotels, there is only free net at starbucks and places like that. Guess live coverage won't be so much reality.

Nah. But, I will make sure there's plenty of freckles' face photos in here because she's joining us roadtrip to Vegas and roundtrip. :D

ha that's good enough as long as it's about vegas to post pictures here. :smoking:
