I wonder how long it will be before they haul out the old "They're gonna pull the plug on granny" argument?:laugh2:

It does not state that if you go to the doctor and do not have insurance, they will throw you in jail. You really are a piece of work. Either you enjoy lying or have virtually no ability to comprehend that which you read.

did you throw all reading comprehension out the window when you built an altar for Obama in your living room?

The bill DOES require ALL Americans to have health insurance.

Penalties for NOT HAVING health insurance is a $2,000 fine and/or imprisonment.

You and I both know a doctor will report a patient without health insurance to the Nazis currently in power so they can go on that bermuda vacation this year and fly first class.

well-informed enough that people would do ridiculous thing. For ie - in California.... the state legalized marijuana. The DEA and local cops continued to harass the legal user and the store that sells it.

Ahh...I see where you are going with that. I thought you were headed in another direction.:giggle: You side stepped me!

Oh, my! Such predictions of gloom and doom. Still no evidence to support it, though.

Wow...you really have an issue with educated people. You should work on that.

I thought Republicans are suppose to be fascist Nazis while Democrats are suppose to be communist Stalinists?

well lets see ..... evidence is the bill recently passed that criminalizes U.S. citizens who do not have health insurance.

Yet, you fail to mention this ANYWHERE in any of your posts.

You even attempted to confuse and deflect this requirement by maliciously placing the word "care" instead of "insurance" in your posts.

You have even misunderstood points that a group of people got the first time it was stated.

and BTW - why would I hold a grudge against "educated" people? I am very educated.

I just think you need to get off your high horse and take a dose of reality. But you don't prescribe reality.

the far right are like Nazis. They are scary.

The far left are tree hugging hippies that live in communes and base decisions on drug addled logic.

I don't know which ones are scarier ;)

Well, first you have to understand the difference between Facism and Communism.:laugh2:

I live in a town that fits your second description. Literally.

Again with the exaggerations and lies.

And you are the one that stated that people were mandated to receive health care. Your mistake, not mine. I simply corrected your error.

Everyone will have insurance to cover medical expenses. The choice of whether to go to the doctor or not is up to the individual.

Ah, so everyone will have insurance to cover the medical $$$... So I can go to see my doctor or not, and if I don't want an insurance to bring it to the doctor and am going to either pay a fine or be in jail. Correct?

No ... now, if you go to a doctor and DO NOT have health insurance, they throw your butt in jail.

Ah, I see... OK, thanks for the answer.

NOTED - This will be my last post cos I'm probably give up soon.....

No maam.

I corrected my error. You went off on a tirade about how it was not a requirement to receive health care.

But you conveniently LEFT out that it was required to have health insurance.

How convenient ... how bout them apples?

Why would you not have insurance when it is made affordable and available? Do you have insurance now?

People are mandated. I just googled it and...

There is a fine, and can be jailed as well.

It is now required to have health insurance with exemptions for those who can prove they cannot afford it.

Those who cannot afford it will get medicaid. Those who are in a tax bracket that the government feels they CAN afford health insurance, but do not have insurance, will be fined and/or imprisoned.

That means, if you earn enough, but your debt is high and you cannot afford health insurance, you will be fined or put in jail.
