ADers, virtual or reality?

ATTENTION ATTENTION *flickering light*

ADers - just because you don't know ASL doesn't mean you shouldn't meet them until you learn ASL. Trust me - this is the best crash course in ASL you can get! and you'll learn fast!

Do not feel intimidated. You already know us! We understand! There are other ways to communicate - notepad.... BB..... or even pantomime. When you go back home, you may feel even more inspired to learn ASL and that way - you can easily learn it fast!

Loghead - get outta your room and go meet AliciaM. and Bucket. and Jenny. :naughty:

Yeah... I remember two of the ADers you met in Seattle said you didn't know ASL back then. :P

Yep, curiosity is unkind to this cat... the cure is to inquire, as usual. I want to know if you have met an AllDeafer yet? Or are you planning on meeting one in the near future? I am planning on meeting a few throughout the year so I need to be inspired... or frightened, either one is fabulous with me. Spill the beans, don't be shy

I'm in zombie land (due to sleep deprivation) so I apologize if a similar thread has already been established. Merge if it'll make your life simpler =)

Why would you be frightened? I hope to meet a few in the future.

lol hahaha oh right i forgot u don't have your license yet logan sorry my bad..and yes jenny i like that idea! cept i think im the only one that doesn't really know ASL :s

Right on. :) I live in Glebe not far from Lansdowne Park. I love that area.

I have known several ADers who went to Gally with me and they are Kokonut, Frisky Feline and others.

I also have met several ADers in real life after chatting and mingling with them in Internet chatrooms.

:nana:

As long as there isn't vids taken I should be fine.

Well I do have my license (G1), but not the one that allows you to drive alone. :(

dont forget that noob insulting partner you have in Scorpio.

I hope to meet a few this year in Vegas. I really wanted to go to New York this weekend but my mom is having some issues so I am staying in town for her.

I'd love to come meet some ADers, the deaf/Deaf community here is so ridiculously small and only involves like, decrepit people. Nobody college aged or just young in general. I'm not lying, on the deaf club website, so far everyday except one day in the past week, at least one person has died.

I would if you all lived a little closer!
