There are a lot of terms that are used by lots of people but that doesn't make them any less vulgar.

It is possible to debate issues without name calling.

Here's what's really going on here: Your ridiculously ethnocentric notions of global interaction got the smackdown from just about every single person on this thread. Um this looks like Bizarro rather than Superman. I don't need to nitpick but your comic panel is otherwise dead on.
 
Another reason why I find the whole thing juvenile...

The emporer doesn't even have constitutional powers. Okay, I can understand the criticism for the Saudi Arabian monarchy, because after all, they are absolute monarchs. However the whole spectacle over the Japanese emperor is amusing since he has no say in Japan's political affairs. Try looing on the positive side, Obama's bow was well-received among the Japanese, that means the American-Japanese relationships will improve. This is something you WANT during an economic RECESSION-- the number one thing you guys are complaining about now and is blaming solely on Obama.

Like geez louise, it's a lose-lose situation among the Republican voters. Blame Obama for more problems with the recession because he didn't strengthen the relationship with Japan enough, or blame Obama for "making America look bad."

If he did that to the PRIME MINISTER of Japan, then I can understand the criticism; but he did not.

Worry about Obama bowing at royalty has nothing with anything that harm to you, it is all about respect.

When you have a serious issue that is worth debating, and not some trite matter over symbolic gestures, I will be happy to debate you in "a mature manner." Your reaction to a comment that was not personally directed at you nor anyone on this thread (but rather to the conservative community in general) is quite melodramatic.

Reba, it's obvious that some people are incapable of respecting others and debating in a mature fashion. Excuses come a dime a dozen and the moderators here obviously don't care about enforcing the rules either.

No. I don't want everybody to agree with me. It'd be a boring place. You know you do have a choice on putting me on ignore, right? Yet you say you won't talk to me? But you are.

Obama's bow made him look like he's bowing deeply to his boss, almost apologetically.
 
Eve and Reba, yep. This thread has ran it's course. As for debating, I agree. Some simply cannot follow that format.

Since I started this thread I am asking the mods it is time to close this thread due to some commenters inability to discuss these issues without personally attacking other commenters, and that this thread has run its course.

Exactly the reason why I didn't believe in Jiro's "shake on it" offer. I predicted this wouldn't work and it wouldn't last long. I guess I was right all along. Nice way of showing that, Jiro. Exactly why it wasn't worth responding to you since I waited to see proof in the pudding first in Eve's thread "Can't we all get along."
