I found some tourists who needed to go to a hotel that was near my house so they guided me while I told them what streets to turn on. I hate relying on people, though, and I was feeling sick the whole time (hence the bathroom emergency). I finally got home and took a hot shower. I feel a bit better now but still a bit nauseous.

How are you holding up, Hear Again?

I'm keeping the ticket and the metrocard and everything/anything related to President Obama's Inauguration. (The metro gave out cards with a portrait of Obama on them for the week.) This is stuff I'll be able to show my grandchildren one day!

i'm back right now until cnn begins to show president obama's motorcade to the white house. my neighbor is watching tv and will let me know as soon as it starts.

if i were you, i would definitely keep anything and everything related to obama. road runner has a feature story on their home page about obama which i plan to print in braille and print hardcopy.
 
i know this is a thread about obama, but my neighbor typed a message on my telebraille about senator kennedy being taken to the hospital after experiencing a seizure. from what she also told me, kennedy suffers from a brain tumor -- something i didn't know. senator kennedy is in my thoughts and prayers. :(

I am shocked..one of my former classmates who is on my FB set her status to "I cant believe America voted in a terroristst." Stupid!!! I emailed her what was up with that?

I wish people would just get it over with and move on!

My students were awed and they loved watching Bush fly away in the helicopter. Helped some of them to understand that Bush is done with the presidency.
