i was looking through the members list and i noticed a lot of people have zero posts. why is that? is it just too boring for them here? or are there some people that they just cant stand and drive them away from AD.
 
You know how people are, they surf the Net and join all the deafie forums the first time around. Perhaps there have been no topics here that they wish to respond to? Or maybe they are embarassed over their English skills? Could be they signed up and then forgot about it. Different strokes for different folks.
 
There are various reasons for why this is the case. Sometimes, they see AllDeaf and assume that they have to be a registered member in order to read the posts so they sign up. There are some people who just sign up for no reason and then leave. There are also some people who just want to read and make no posts... like a lurker.
 
Once in a while, Alex does some "membership cleaning up," I believe. That gets rid of all these members with no posts.
 
Yeah I have noticed that, but I just though that they just want to sign up and read the posts or something like Vamp said.
 
indeed, i seen alots ppl hasn't post. They prolly just read or check it out. One thing, possible their english or grammar aren't that good. Look at me, I admit, i'm not good at grammar but good enough, tho. I'm glad that I did joined and matter of fact i'm enjoy this forum
 
yeah i see most deafness had that plm but u should be glad u don't have that poor grammar.

Same here. I constantly stutter, speak in wrong tenses, use incoherent phrases. I guess its just part of how my brain functions. :(

Don't forget some of the 0 posters are scammers who just sign up for spamming purposes. :fu:
 
i have a hard time reading too. when some of u guys write those HUGE posts im like oh man f*ck this, im never going to be able to read this. i could read it...if i sat down with no distractions and read it. but it would take me a least 20-30 minutes.

Exactly same with me. If I can give it the attention span, I will sit down and read and write longer posts. I used to do this all the time when I first started posting, now I can't devote a minute to anything. I have terrible ADD that has never been diagnosed or treated.

maybe they thinks that they won't have time to post or whatever or some answers to the posts

but i always have time to post
