You're a 90's kids if...

oh, I sure do remember that "Macarena"! I worked at a facility with people frail elderly people and people with Altzheimer's and one of the offerings was "adaptive" dance/movement classes. The instructor for this class brought radio and songs to use, one of which was the "Macarena" song-

I'll never forget the "Macarena" because that was the year Brett Farve and the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XXXI. :D

They even came out with a parody to the "Macarena" called the "Packerena." :laugh2:

Yes, and here we had to listen BOTH versions of it, the English and Spanish version, however I have to say I like the Spanish version better than the English version because it has better rhythm of the words to the music.

Remember Mambo No. 5?

Some of the stuff listed didn't even happen in the 90s.

I thought it was 90s-specific?

Your a '90s kid if you watched sailor moon and wanted to be her or one of the other girls and all the guys got excited when sailor moon transformed:giggle:

you had slap bracelets.

you wanted to untwist an oreo and have it clean your room. "Unlock the magic".

woohoo! wrong decade!
----

How about Power Rangers and the Nascar Explosion?

I remember both of these from the 80s. In fact, "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" was quite popular back in the late 80s.

Oh yeah I played that ALLLLLL the time when I was a child in the 80s. A lot of the stuff I see in this thread already existed in the 80s.

if you watched Eureeka's castle and Allegra's window i loved those shows on nick jr. man!

"Nick Jr. We Play to Learn" (1995-2000).

Oh jeez don't remind me...

I may have spent most of my first 21 years of my life in Wisconsin but I still think the Packers suck.

I noticed that too Lucia. 90% of what was mentioned actually started in the 80s. It looks like you and I were the lucky ones to live back then. The 80s were a great decade. :D

I was a 80's kid when that happened, and I still remember it. Y'all are thinking of the wrong decade.

Same here. The Challenger explosion happened when I was in 9th grade. I'll never forget it because I watched CNN during my science class when it happened. :(
