Why are men who have grey hair considered SEXY but not women? :hmm:

I have seen some women who have grey hair and look SO sexy! but not me. :D

Good question Frisky... hmmm :giggle: True thing, George Clooney doesn't look that bad to me ;) But I still don't have a thing for men with grey hair in general... If they have grey hair, so be it... but it is not something that mainly attracks me.

Good Question.

I suppose it is how society perceives it that way.

I've seen some women who has a whole black hair with just some grey strands on their hair. They look great with it. I suppose it is how you make yourself look better because if not, it may be looked differently. :dunno:
 
For me, everybody is sexy.

If you take a bald man like Captain Picard, now that's sexy! However I don't find Vin Diesel attractive. It's the body itself. It's strange because I love meaty men. [not muscle] I want something to cuddle with.

Salt and pepper hair man like my hubby. Turn on me big time.

Lady with gray hair like the actress Jamie Lee Curtis is very beautiful because it let her soul shines.

My hubby typing this message because Patty cuddles Mosey like a baby. Mosey the cat is making the biscuits.
 
I better hurry up and type this before Mosey makes himself too comfy!

Yes I wont dye my hair, oh boy Mosey is now on my arm.. making it hard to type.

Making biscuits now on arm. LOL!
 
I am prematurely gray. I had my first gray hair when I was 11. I usually dye my hair, because most of my gray hair is concentrated in the front, so it's not even. However I get mixed feelings when I ask people if I should stop dying my hair. Half of them say, "Ew no! Gray hair on women! Gross! It will make you look old" the other half (which is usually men) "Yea you can be like Rogue from X-men... SEXY"
 
I find Harrison Ford who has grey hair sexy....I don't normally find guys with grey hair sexy but Harrison Ford, he's sexy that's for sure!

But that's a good question, I don't know why women find men sexy with grey hair while men find women unattractive with grey hair. It's interesting and I'm interested what the answers will be from various of people.
 
ha ha yea i do have a heavy white streaky. I first had three strinds when i was 15. Each year it built up as a streaky. I think it looks neaty. Once i start to have regular grey all over it, stilllll PEPPER.. i dont like it how it looks anymore. I ve been dying color my hair since i was 22. I often let my hair grow as root as the streak is shown more noticiable. People keeps asking me if i dye that grey streak. NO its my natural color. or people asked me if i have W.S. I dont think i have WS.

i stick to dye color my hair for now. :D
 
Well, that's a couple of lady members now....what causes prematurely gray hair, if you know?

OMG!! People ask me the same thing! I also have blue eyes (which is not common in my family), so that adds to the factor.... deaf, blue eyes, gray hair = W.S.??
