Xbox 360 Vs X Box

boyy.. im having a hard time thinking which is better xbox360 or Playstaion 3.. can anyone explain here and advice me which i should take?

I know xbox is awesome but what about ps3? since i own Playstation 2. If Playstation 3 would accpet any games to play from PS2?

If I have xbox360.. will they still accpeting any games like sega,ps2 games.

help me out for the damn sake! lol

CoolieFroggie, For your information, I aint HUGE FAN nor owned of PS thugs!! :( But I read article in xbox mag said, that PS3 could play backward games from PS and PS2.. You should be relieve and don't worry about !!! if you have ps2 games, better stick with PS3..smile.

No Xbox 360 is not capable the backward complilitiy of PS, other games.. but xbox games only! ;) Yeah X360 is so AW3-SOME console! but small numbers of games for X360, plus X360 had been defective lately.. I dislike to see you spend your money 400 bucks on the defective X360 if you purchased.. My highly advice is: you better wait after 6 month or a year when MS fix the defective X360..

If you don't have the original xbox, you can buy used xbox about 90 to 100 bucks from pawn shop or else store and give a try to play some xbox games on xbox if you like it or not before you buy X360...

sounds like you are another playstation fangirl...if you love playstation 2 so much, then playstation 3 is the better purchase for you.

I got Xbox360 because I really loved the orginal Xbox and I love it more than Playstation 2 and GameCube, with better games, better controller, good third party support like Sega, Capcom, Rare, and Tecmo. Yep I'm an Xbox addict :P
so it was a pretty damn good purchase for me to get an Xbox360 and play the sequels such as DOA4, Halo 3, and many others.

Everyone have different tastes and opinons, so it depends on which you really love the most and then get the next gen system from the other system that you loved the most.

So if you are really into Playstation 2, then just wait 'til next year to get the Playstation 3.

very intersting comments.. well i think i should wait till it's get better but what about PSP? can anyone tell me about it?
 
i will have to wait until price is reduced maybe next year. new XBOX 360 has 3 cores of PowerPC at 3.2 GHz! but PS3 will have 7 cores of part of PowerPC designs that will be more powerful than XBOX 360. You will see more real world from PS3. Apple uses PowerPC on its operating system Mac OS X many years don't you know about?
 
Interesting discussion here. I am not game crazy. FYI Micro$oft is losing money on each Xbox 360 sold! The actual cost to make each of unit is 552 dollars, and they are selling at 399 dollars! I finally bought GameCube because my 4 yrs old son seems want it so badly for x mas. sigh.
 
Hi Cheri, after snooping around a bitty. And that I am parent as well. I'd hold this off. Reason? There has been glitches going on with technology involved with Xbox 360. I wouldn't want to disappoint my child on christmas day with dead Xbox. On other hand it depends on how old your kids are. If they are late teenager, they might understand if it comes out defective, they will be pisssed off at the manufacturer rather than you. But if they are very young, they will think your giving them bad unit. Very hard decision though.
As of right now, I know little about game stuff. Eventually I will know more. grin

I never own an PSP. but I played one at EBgames awhile ago and it looks pretty cool but very pricy and doesn't seem to have alot of good games coming to the PSP either so I dunno...alot of the same games from the PSP are on the PS2, also. and it only plays movies made from those UMD discs. not the real DVDs so I didnt really like that.

and I thought it be way better if they make some kind of PSP device hook up to your PS2 and play the PSP on the screen just like Nintend did with the Gameboy Player which hooks up on your gamecube and play gameboy games and all that crap, etc. so who knows? proably wont happen anyway... *sigh*

That was also the case with the original Xbox.

Sis, if I were you, I would wait until the price drops down, and also to see if others like it before you decide to buy it....

Like I did with the Xbox, I waited until the price drops down and also to see what kind of games they created, so I would know if it worth to buy or not....
 
mmmmm intersting.. i think i would go for ps3 not xbox360 but im still curious about PSP.. it's a portable and carry with it anywhere u go..

I have so much thinking about it..
