Worldwide Blackberry outage over

I haven't heard of any Apple outages yet (but that wouldn't be Apple anyway, it would be the service provider.)

So far, so good for me! I've been with Verizon for several months and all is groovy. I remember the Blackberry outage a few years ago that lasted 10 days. THAT was sucky.

there won't be Apple outage because there is no centralized server like BB or Sidekick. However..... now they just released iCloud... expect Apple Outage in the future :)

That is what I was saying. My iPhone is a DREAM. Love it, love it, love it !!!!

The iCloud .. We'll see. I've been seeing all the hype about it. So far I'm kind of like "oh, hum" ....

I have zero confidence in iCloud or anything relating to cloud computing by Apple. Apple was never good at it. That's where Android dominates it because it's basically "father" of cloud computing and Android is tightly integrated with it.

Apple.... well let's see. I just hope that my iPhone4S won't be a brick if iCloud goes down.

You can do without iCloud. (It's asked me Do you want sign in with iCloud or not)

It's weird because I never had any problems with my Blackberry. It worked just fine all week, every day.

iOS5 is designed to be tightly integrated with iCloud and it's already integrated with Twitter too.

wait till iPhone5 comes out which means a big iOS5 update will coming along too.

might be because you weren't using BB service. my BIM was down.
 
Yeah the iOS 5 upgrade is taking FOREVER. Been online for three hours already, still likes another 4 and that's on broadband.

I don't think I will be using iCloud. I think Apple will just try it, people won't like it, then they will go back to doing what has worked.

I'm fine with connecting my iPhone to my laptop to sync to iTunes. Hopefully these features can be modified in the new OS.

Same here. I don't like that idea about photo stream. I disabled it.
 
I disabled mine as well. The entire upgrade took about an hour. The new FB look on here is cool!
 
Blackberry service for emails (Blackberry Browser was so slow for surfing) was okay in Australia, apart from BBM did went down yesterday for couple of hours.

it allow us to choice between iCloud or your own computer to backup.
 
Yeah I like the new Facebook App, looks kind of cool really.

When I updated, the only thing I lost was some ringtones. That was it. Everything else remained intact.

I need to fiddle with it to get it to do the vibrating and flashing alerts.
