I brought this subject at my thread "Briton spoil children".
Here is mine:
German Tradition:
Breakfast: between 8 am and 8.30 am (cereals, fruits, toasts, rolls, cheese, butter, jam, egg for sundays).
Hot dinner: between 11.30 am and 12.30 noon with salads or warm vegetables.
Afternoon coffee:3 pm with homemade cakes/cookies
Cold evening snack: between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm (kind of rolls, breads with sliced sausages, cheeses, noodle salads, salads etc) - sometimes I baked homemade pizza for saturdays - sometimes my children loves to eat cereals.
British Tradition:
Breakfast: between 8 am and 9.00 pm
snack: between 12.30 and 14.00 pm (sandwiches)
Hot Dinner: between 6.00 pm and 7.30 pm

You remind me of old married couple, I met at BBQ party last summer. They talked about their son & his family live in America & told me that they don't have meal times for a day but a big breakfast in morning and then big dinner in evening... I'm going to create a thread later to find out what daily time American, Austrialian, and any countries in the world to have their daily meal time. Of course I will share mine...

when we saw the kind of foods they eat for their "breakfast" like "snack time".
My children tried some of Asian food and feel strange that it's really breakfast...
