World Ugliest Dogs Contest!

Goodness.

Chinese Cresteds often win this thing. Weird little dogs, aren't they.

Chinese Crested do seem to win those. I felt sorry for the one eyed Pug. It looked like the remaining eye needed removed.

I think they should have a rule that dogs who are very ill can't be entered.

I was going to look, but now after reading this, I'm sad.

I did not finish looking at those pictures and will look at later. I dont like the idea of having the contest the most ugliest doggies. thats so wrong. all animals are adorable. period.

I agree about the ill part that doggies should not have traveling if they don't feel good. that is so wrong.

I agree with you! My poor little Marty was shipped 3,000 miles when he was sick!! Some dogs owners put their needs before their dogs! The dogs could give a shit about how they look!

that is serious! terrible  I surprised, risk dangerous!

Anyone have an email address for the people who have this event? Id like to remind them that health is important and not just trying to find the ugliest dog.

It's at the Sonoma-Marin county fair in California. You might be able to find it from them.

I think it made no difference if you say anything. I am sure you have seen people leave their poor dogs in hot cars in the middle of the day! I have spoken to the owners and most of them say " I do it all the time and my dog is fine!! and the people that bring their dogs to the contests are using their dogs to fill their needs in winning any contest!
