There any former popular opreating system(s) before Windows was "born"?
 
Yes that is correct DOS was the first program before the windows were being developed.
 

Actually, UNIX was the first one then
it became overshadowed by MS-DOS later.

While ago I learned that Linux O/S
is getting hot nowadays I dunno why...
 
x10oT, Go to Start > Run > (you type) "command" or "cmd" > OK. That's what look like DOS.
 
Thats was the first opreating system?? wut people do with it?? its seem boring.. lol :rofl:
 
At the time, DOS seemed like WOW!

Really, it was not user friendly, compared to Windows. For DOS, you had to memorize commands, prompts, etc.

But I was using Macs before that. (more commonly called Apples in the old days) :)
