Woman Named "Hooker" Accused of Prostitution

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman has been charged with prostitution, but her name is the part of the story gaining attention.

Deanna Hooker, 39, was charged with one count of prostitution on Thursday. According to the Houston police charging document, Hooker is accused of agreeing to have oral sex with a client for money on Wednesday.

Hooker was previously convicted for prostitution in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
