I understand it's very stupid of her to take the money, but I am glad she gave up her tickets instead of going to jail....she has MS, so I understand her reasons of giving it up. My manager at work also have MS, and she gets her spells (one time I saw a bandage over one of her eyes for several weeks, and then her vision got better. she also parks in a handicapped space, but she can walk pretty good the majority of the time....MS is inconsistant daily). I would've done the same thing as this woman did -- giving up her tickets because of health reasons. -- Nancy

It's a choice that would make many Green Bay Packers fans shudder -- give up your season tickets or go to jail.
That's the choice Sharon Rosenthal of Appleton faced when she was convicted last Friday of stealing almost $3,500 from the labor union she worked for. The judge said she could spend 90 days in jail or give up her season tickets for this year to charity.
The Rosenthals' three-game Gold Package tickets are going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeast Wisconsin.
The chapter tells us it's the first to receive a donation this way through a judge's sentence.
The tickets will be given to Wish kids and their families.
She gave up the tickets. She also reimbursed the union.
Rosenthal's unique sentence has thrown her into the national spotlight. Sharon and Jim Rosenthal's names are on just about every news Web site you can Google, and they even made an appearance on ESPN's Cold Pizza.
"It's more attention than I need, that's for sure," Mrs. Rosenthal reacted.
Mrs. Rosenthal suffers from multiple sclerosis. She says jail just wasn't an option.
"It would have been very difficult for me to go to jail, I believe. I don't think my health would have been very good for jail."
Her husband says after almost 39 years of marriage it's just one of those things.
"We've been through lots of ups and downs and things in our marriage, and there's just nothing that would change my support and love for my wife," Mr. Rosenthal said.
Mrs. Rosenthal regrets taking the money. "It was not a good decision to make. I've been very sorry that I did it. It wasn't good thinking."
As she said on ESPN 2, she already has plans for those football Sundays staying home instead of sitting in Lambeau Field: "I'm going to have a Bloody Mary and I'm going to sit and watch the game at the TV."
Mrs. Rosenthal says she'll always feel bad about taking the money but she's happy the tickets are going to a good cause.
