With an ear for the deaf

How about we hire 'Titantic' and its ship would be glad to bury the audist in the box in its bow --- deep, deep, deep underwater? ;)

Nah...some deep sea diver will find him and just haul him back up again like a prize!:giggle:

JClarke, diabolical ideas you have there! You should write those ideas in a letter to this so-called expert ;)

On a serious note, I'm contemplating writing a letter to this Estabrooks and take him to task for his comments such as those:

“Today, with all the available hearing devices and technology, there is no need for our children to remain deaf,’’ he told this news paper. And, implementing the auditory verbal approach could be the first option for these children to relieve themselves from dumbness, he added.

Instructions in lip reading or sign language will hinder the emergence of normal speech and language in the child, he added.

You all should do this, too. I wonder how can this get out on DeafRead?

Can you tell me how to find an address? I will most certainly send out a letter.

Well, he's the Director of the Learning to Listen Foundation in Toronto, Canada

so we should find address for this place. I'll look it up later.

More joy, he's an Global Ambassador for AGBell :ugh3:

Cool. I will Google it for an address. Did you see A.G. Bell's latest antics? Check out Banjo's link in the thread on the SuperBowl ad in Sign Language & Oralism.

At the bottom of the ocean, you say? Sounds good, him lying down there with a buncha lawyers, too! Lol....

I have a better idea, how about one of us, make a ASL Vlog and send it over to him and he would have no understanding in ASL or whatever, as we could just complain as much as we want.

And I saw that AB Bell link from Banjo. - What a joke, he is.
