I wonder will another youn deaf actress won oscar in near future if work hard in dramatic film?

It reasons that I knew this person was amazing actress who was in "Gerald" which won best narrative film at WDCF last night.
 
Can you give her name? And what is the "Gerald" movie about? :Oops: I would be grateful to you for more information about this movie and the actress :)

Micaela Paulone.

It is about mystery of grandfather who has austic and affect on granddaughters who both couples until shocking truth at end.
 
Gerald is a deaf film, is created and directed by ASL Films, Hollywood wouldn't do that to these kind of films, if the actor/actress wants to the fame, go to hollywood.

That little kid in THe Orphan. There's a deaf kid in Hollywood.
 
She is my great friend for long time through high school and gallaudet.
