Wii wish ya a happy thanksgiving :D

wonder which is the best wii, xbox 360 and PSP????
 
If you are truly a hardcore gamer, I say Xbox360 and Wii are the best to own since both are pretty affordable and have tons of great games for the two consoles. For Xbox360, you get Dead Rising, Gears of War, Prey, Perfect Dark Zero, and even Dead or Alive 4. For Wii, you get Wii sports, Zelda: twilight princess, old school gaming on virtual console such as Super Mario 64. :P
 
ATTENTION

For anyone who owns a Wii and have it connected online, you will notice that once you turn off the console, the light will turn to yellow instead of red as another way to tell you that it is online at ALL times but only one problem is that since it remains online, it will get warmer than with red light for standby only. So, if you wanna change the Wii to standby mode, you push the button on the console once you turn it on (if you already had it on yellow standby mode)then push the power button again and hold it just for exactly one mintue 'til you see the red light then it is in full standby mode meaning the console will then remain cool and store plenty of engery to it...same thing to the PS2 that always show red light for standby mode restoring engery and all. So no biggie.

Does Xbox 360 have standby? Not need turn power off but it can cause to get overheat.

I didnt know the Wii have built in wifi 'til defmatrixense told me about it and that I have a wireless router in the house used by Dlink, defmatrixense and wolfboy have been helping me with this all last night and all day 'til I finally got the full details on the wireless router's model number and everything else, etc...then wolfboy helped me on it saying I need to update the update wireless router so it took me awhile to get it all updated ugh it was really complicated and stressful but in the end I finally got it working great thanks to wolfboy's help on this. I now got the Wii online (yes even Wiiconnect24) and you will notice that when the Wii is turned off, the light will turn yellow meaning its still online so I havent downloaded any old school games yet and I dont have the retro controller yet either so the first game I wanna download is super mario 64 but that have to wait...at least I already bought 2000 wii points online so I'm all set. Just one more for the virtual console is the retro controller and then I'm golden for the virtual console gaming. ;)

Do you use WEP or WPA? Just open wireless? Did you set up for Steel X wireless for security? Mine is wireless and set up for WPA. Avoid neighbors using my wireless router and less lagging. At my house, I checked network wireless list, there are 7 wireless routers. Mostly security than open. 5 users used WEP or WPA. 2 unprotected wireless from my neighbors, I can use them if my network disconnect for any reason.

I found a MUCH better way for you to having to hold the power button for a mintue waiting for the red light to show up and be on standby mode...

since you don't want the Wii to be online 24 hrs a day right? Well there's the easiest way. Go to the Wii settings and turn the Wii connect 24 to OFF so that way it will not be online 24/7 and will rather be online when u turn the system on automatically.

So that sounds alot easier and can finally use the wii mote to turn the console off, even thou it wont be on Wii connect 24 thou.
 
Yep.. Got Wii too!! Went to the mall last Friday earlier morning around 5:10am.. There's no one waiting in line to get into Software Etc. Me and my nephew saw the guy who closed the door and locked.. We ran after him and see if they have Wii consoles, he was like, yes we have 6 or 7 consoles left.. We immediately asked him what time will be open? He said 6 am and then he left.. Then I looked at time so, it's 5:15am and nobody is waiting in line still.. I let my nephew to be first person in line and I'm second.. In very few minutes, more people are joining in lines.. They are all wanting buy Wii consoles..!! Wow!! We must be very lucky before it's too late! :D Anyway, until around 6 am, the guy came back with his Starbuck coffee and told us.. Ready buy Wii? We were like oh yea! We are all got in and we buy Wii!, in about 5 minutes Wii consoles sold out quickly! I didn't expected the box of Wii is kinda heavy! At least, it looks sweet! :D

After I hook up everything.. We play, play and play.. My upper arms are so damn sore cuz of Boxing... indeed got me sweat while fighting.. Hehe!! Wow, I must say it's worth it and love it!! Mostly, I enjoy bowling with my wife.. We made fun of each other how good are we, etc.. It's been fun!! And yet, just got Zelda Twilight Princess last night.. Let my nephew plays for awhile and I'm watching.. It looks so damn awesome in actions and graphics!! It blew my mind!! Whoa!

I must say it's worth it! :D
 
OH yea, one more thing, I was in Oregon for Thanksgiving weekend.. It's great to buy Wii without tax! :D It's still only 249.99!
 
For anyone who owns a Wii and already have it online and downloaded Virtual Console classics and now that it's Monday...each Monday will bring new releases on Virtual Console classics...you would notice there's not any new classics out yet because Nintendo Corp. is on the west coast and its not even 3pm yet. So either way, it will still come eventually on a Monday anyway.
