I prefer to be invisible without any explaination because I just feel like my privacy should be respected ;)

This is a polite request to ADers who post pictures to describe them for the benefit of those who are deafblind or blind.

Failing to describe pictures for a deafblind or blind person is like a hearing person not allowing a D/deaf person to use an interpreter for communication or refusing to speak clearly enough to be understood by someone who is hard of hearing.

Thankyou Hear Again, for reminding me of this, I appreciate that. I am 1/2 asleep after a long night of work so I wasn't thinking of that, but you are soooo right! Yes, a man just peeks out and then disappears again, kinda like now you see him now you don't, peek-a-boo. I took it as a joke as to being invisible here at all-deaf and then lowering your invisibility shield and peeking in for a moment, hahaha.

You're welcome! :) I'm glad you didn't take offense to my request because describing pictures allows the deafblind and blind to fully enjoy AD.
 
Hear Again, this is my statistical sampling data for my hypothesis, post #2. I think it is mostly valid because I am measuring alldeaf's guest:member (or invisibility) ratio because I had a gut feeling it seems quite a lot higher than your average forum. I originally did it in picture format because it was easier to do.

So, I set with the question of wondering if deafies prefer invisibility over visibility.
I am a sociologist so I am always into these random things. Anyway here is the data:

Sampled around same time frame (within 30mins), on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 ~ 5PM EST

Alldeaf.com: Current users 457 (42 members, 415 guests) ----- 9 guests per 1 online member ratio

Forum A: Current users 4376 (1002 members, 3374 guests) ----- 3 guests per 1 online member ratio
Forum B: Current users 574 (231 members, 343 guests) ----- 2 guests per 1 online member ratio
Forum C: Current users 1471 (480 members, 991 guests) ----- 2 guests per 1 online member ratio
Forum D: Current users 115 (84 members, 31 guests) ----- 1 guest per 2.7 online member ratio
Forum E: Current users 137 (62 members, 75 guests) - invisibility status- 6 are hidden ----- 1 guest: 1 online: .08 invisible ratio
Forum F: Current users 667 (374 members, 293 guests) ----- 1 guests per 1 online member ratio
Forum G: Current users 1002 (365 members, 637 guests) ----- 1.7 guests per 1 online member ratio
Forum H: Current users 3795 (889 members, 2906 guests) ----- 3 guests per 1 online member ratio
Forum I: Current users 2552 (431 members, 2081 guests) - invisibility status- 10 are hidden ----- 4.8 guest: 1 online: .004 invisible ratio

Forum K: Current users 196 (32 members, 164 guests) ----- 5 guests per 1 online member ratio

Forum L is not really apart of the study because the site is sales related only: people visit to look for a cheap deal and buy off the links they click only, no need for a registration. It is here for comparison.

2 of them I am able to see the invisibility status of all members, the rest I am not.

Hey sorry I forgot about blind/deaf members here. I posted a gif of Chris Hansen (he's actor who make living out of busting pedophiles) peeking in and out.
