For some time, I came to a hypothesis that a good chunk of (D)eaf culture, online, seemingly leans towards a low profile.
This topic is aimed at no one in particular, but the overall aspect of how Deaf society participates online, so hopefully please do not take this as offensive or trespassing.
So I jokingly hand you an ultimatum now that you are here. Why are you invisible (or visible?) if you want to share with us? The poll is anonymous if you choose to participate in that form instead.
There is no purpose in this thread other than to bust myths, gossip & rumors, and quench curiosity.
A lot of it is directed towards the invisible(s) as this is what I feel reflects a portion of the deaf community, although I have no substantiation in adjudicating this.
