Santa Maria, Calif. (AP) - Michael Jackson fans who plan to be in Santa Maria, Calif., for his arraignment probably won't want to park at the courthouse. Parking there that day will cost $250 per space.


That's up from the usual, more reasonable, fee -- zero, nil, nada.

County supervisors say the higher rate begins Tuesday and runs through Sunday, although Jackson's arraignment on molestation charges is expected to take only a few minutes.

No other business will be conducted at the courthouse Friday and most workers have the day off.

sounds like theyre also trying to discourage ppl from flocking to the courthouse and to heighten security measures as well -- but yea Vampy -- definately a huge profit for the city!!!!!!
