Whoa that would not be a good situation at all. What if the immigrants and low lifes that work at the post office got ahold of those H & R mailings then they would have a field day memorizing numbers after numbers while they work passing mail after mail. That is sick, man !!!!

I think someone did some type of " Espionage work " to try and damage the H & R Block reputation and cut the competition in half.

That would not surprise me, man .....since tax preparation companies have fierce and often intense competition close to April 15th every year.

I am sure Endymion has got something to say on that one. I know Espionage work is very widespread in all of the workplace sectors, both public and private sectors.

What do you think Diehardbiker? Endymion?

An interesting question, Heath!

Personally, I doubt it was the mark of an industrial saboteur. I could be wrong, of course, but I figure that in industrial espionage and industrial sabotage, there are better, less-visible options available.

If EndymionTax (marketing the famous triple-E strategy ;)) was competing with HRBlock and if I was an unscrupulous owner, I would rather have someone attack their database of customers and either extract the information or wipe it out altogether. Sending out messages with social security numbers seems like an amateur thing to do.

Additionally, if I attack HRBlock by having them send out SSNs, it only means that less people will go to HRBlock. There are other competitors. Some will go to Bob's Tax Haus and Tousi Taxes instead. If EndymionTax were to attack HRBlock, the shareholders would rather me do it in a way that gives EndymionTax more money.

I think the SSN thing was a silly mistake made by someone up the hierarchy. That kind of stuff happens a lot in business, actually.

I have used it for years, and not even single problem. They are very easy to use, just follow step by steps. Some of my friends don't believe this, and went to tax professional, and the tax owe or refund happen to be pretty much same. So, they are paying 4 times more to tax professional than what I have paid for my tax software, SMH!

I average about 20 minutes to do my semi-complicated taxes. I own house, and did some business and have kid. I always get refund every year. EVEN I ask employer not to deduct for federal taxes! Its all about planning, and I do NOT want uncle sam to borrow my money on interest free!

cool thanks for info
