Which income tax software
do you like to use ?

I don't use tax software. I use tax strategies.

The latest tax strategy is something I call the The Economic Endymion Enron. Basically the core feature of my triple-E tax strategy is you give the IRS your middle finger . . . and then RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNN!

RUN BABY, RUN! :-o

I just went to the H & R Block neighborhood tax office today and sat down with a lady who helped me do my W-2 tax paperwork for a refund from work. When we were done, I told her God Bless and Thank you then left. I will see her next year at tax time. She is a friendly and a nice lady.

Just go to any public library if there are CPA volunteers for no charge. They do assist to elderly people, disabled people and other poor people with the incomes less than $35,000 level. Otherwise, you may go to HRBlocks or other tax assistance sites for fee.

Sorry I am too parniod to trust online when its about money issue...

All what we do is sleep and let Tax Officer take care everything for us... Of course we pay charge but they know how to make profit for us... We received profit every year...

We don't use software. We have a professional tax man prepare our taxes for us because we have very complicated taxes due to combined self-employment business, contract work, salary work, etc. He does it for us for free, as a barter service.

So you interpret for him with the deaf clients...

I prefer adding machines than software to use in tax preparations.

No, my Hubby barters his service for the tax man. :D

I have used it for years, and not even single problem. They are very easy to use, just follow step by steps. Some of my friends don't believe this, and went to tax professional, and the tax owe or refund happen to be pretty much same. So, they are paying 4 times more to tax professional than what I have paid for my tax software, SMH!

I average about 20 minutes to do my semi-complicated taxes. I own house, and did some business and have kid. I always get refund every year. EVEN I ask employer not to deduct for federal taxes! Its all about planning, and I do NOT want uncle sam to borrow my money on interest free!

Nothing wrong with using Turbotax or other software. Of course, it is much better than any professional tax service, such as HRBlock service...

However, it would be better to let CPA do your tax if you only own your business. I know it is a bit cost more, but it could save your neck from IRS.

If you have earned less than $35K, you can get a free tax service at your college or public library...

Yes, yet it is really too small, no big deal, more of bartendering. It is not big enough to let CPA do the dirty work.

BTW, you think HR block is best? FYI, HR block made HUGE mistake recently! They sent out alot of mailing... guess whats on the mailing label??? COMPLETE SSN on it!!! This made Identity thieves a great day!!! So, should we trust them that they won't make another mistake? I don't think so!

Whoa that would not be a good situation at all. What if the immigrants and low lifes that work at the post office got ahold of those H & R mailings then they would have a field day memorizing numbers after numbers while they work passing mail after mail. That is sick, man !!!!

I think someone did some type of " Espionage work " to try and damage the H & R Block reputation and cut the competition in half.

That would not surprise me, man .....since tax preparation companies have fierce and often intense competition close to April 15th every year.

I am sure Endymion has got something to say on that one. I know Espionage work is very widespread in all of the workplace sectors, both public and private sectors.

What do you think Diehardbiker? Endymion?
