me at least like both generation,it doesn't matter to me.:wave::lol:
 
Good question.....

Long time ago, I was married ex-husband in 1990's.

His family love classic old movie forever.

Opposite

I love go to see all new movie every years. I started to watch big screen "Star Wars" in 1977. Again, I watch new movie 1980's to 1989's.

But I was married with ex-husband in 1990's to 2000's . He disliked all new movies. I feel unhappy with him. But I am enjoying to watch new movie at theater right now forever!
 
I'm not fussy about movies but one thing hubby knows I'm not fond of Star Wars movie. Ugh!

Odd thing is.. I love Star Trek and love ST-TNG the most!
 
I like both. i enjoy alfred hitchcock, old classic like spencer tracy & katherine hepburn and new ones. i am not into people plays killing people such as horror movies but im ok with ghosts with bleeding. that is another whole story. ha
 
It don't matter to me when the movies were made as long as it ( the movie) was good.
 
I'm not much of a movie-freak at all but there are some good movies that I love to watch over and over again, whether old or new ;) So I can't really decide here...

I love MY FAIR LADY just as much as I loved watching SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE recently ;)
 
i do like watch old movies in 1950's-1960's till now but i remind what i do like watch my favorites movies..

when i was little girl my dad had vhs tapes of death wish but i didnt done with that movie so i watch that movie death wish on AMC of tv but im not sure who whose vhs tapes belong to..but i would love to watch death wish dvds sometimes but not now.

i watch that movie of Donovan's Reef from my mom's old friend who copy tapes bring to hospital in Olathe,KS and i watch that but i love that very much.They later i watch that again on tv but im so big fans this movie.
 
It depends on each of it's genre.

What I mean is, There are some old/new movies that are not so great but then again, there are some old/new movies that are so awesome.

In overall, I think most of the old movies are better since it has a original taste to it. Some of the time, there are remakes that does not seem to have the original feel to it.

I suppose, it is to each own.
