I'm going CRAZY!

I am stuck between two drunken parties at my apartment complex, one on each side of me! They're screaming, playing music, banging on the walls...this is insane!!!!

I SO envy those who can switch off their hearing aids...my ears are stuck on "hypersensitive." NOT fun right now. :(

I feel your pain. I have a roommate that loves blaring music into the early morning, and I was tipped off from another roommate tonight that on his last night here, he planned on not letting me sleep at all by making noise all through the night. I have a pair of knuckles waiting in my pocket for that night.

Now that's very nasty of him to do it on purpose. These people, I think are just too hammered to have any clue anymore what they're doing. I think I just have to hope they pass out soon. I have to get up at 7:45. :(

theres 2 ways go abt it u can go over and knock on thier doors tell them turn down the music OR u can notify the police and have them comeout and shut them down...

Hm...small girl...lots of drunk people...I don't think the door-knocking option is a smart one for me.

We have a "courtesy patrol" in this apartment complex. Not police, but they can tell people to quiet down. If this is still going on when I'm completely ready for bed, I'll call.

Call the police. There's a law against disturbing the peace. :)

There are times I wish I could turn my ears off, too. I feel your pain girl!!!

Finally had to call the courtesy people to get some peace.

Then the other neighbors woke up early. They seem to try to be quiet--but I hear EVERYTHING. :(

Grrrrrrrr...

Rose Immortal,

Solution for you....

Don't you buy swimming ear plug and will not hear anything at all...

How's sound good for you ?

Been using earplugs, yeah...it helps some, but not enough.

Still, thanks for the suggestion. :)

What kind are you using?? We have some good ones for use on the trains. I also have some cheesy ones on a string attatched to my hat.

Don't know how loud your neighbors are, but try foam earplugs. The higher the NRR is the more noise it blocks out. NRR is a ratings number. I use NRR 33 and can't hear anything that my sis or nephew do in the morning. Here's a link for you:
