I have had this problem for two days. I accidentally hit some keys that makes the top toolbar and bottom toolbar disappear or change the way it looks! When I take the cursor up to my toolbar, the toobar comes down! Only with some missing icons such as spelling, Google toolbar, etc. Grrr!!

It is the same with the bottom toolbar, and it looks the way it is when I hit the key that has the Windows icon symbol on it, then when I click on the screen, and it disappears! Only a gray bar shows.

I fixed it yesterday by clicking on whatever button! What is the button that fixes all this?

This is so annoying! There should be a lock key to avoid touching other keys that I never use anyway.

Now it is fixed! I don't know how it got fixed because I tried to close the windown and open a new window, which didn't help. Somehow it magically got fixed.

I know about it. You better lock the toolbar.

Ask your daddy aka purplecatty...

You may have enabled the autohide option, make the toolbars hide from viewer when cursor isnt touch them. Stay away from command keys (fn, ctrl, alt, option, and apple). They only work if other keys was pressed. Right-click the toolbars to open the options to undo the autohide.
Hope those helps you understand the computers better.

By way... if anyone tell you to press the ALT + F4 or apple + Q, please dont press that. This will shut down the current program.

You probably had a stuck key.

I've had a similar problem before. I had a key stuck on my keyboard and it was affecting the way I navigated through my desktop.

Chuck it in the bin, replace it with a new one. Problem solved

Pry the key button out of keyboard and clean out button inside/outside both. And clean the button space then put key button back. It wont stuck again.

If not, do what as JClarke said in his post above.
