There are several "Ask anything" threads...

Do we really need so many?

Just curious. ;)

These threads are created by members for anyone who wants to get to know this certain member better in a sense. It's not about the advices but it's rather more of a "get to know" thread. You are free to create one for yourself and you can ask any questions to get to know any of these members who have created "Ask Anything" threads. :)

Sometimes, it helps to contribute a lot first by posting in other normal threads before creating your own "Ask Me Anything" thread.

If you're brand new and don't have many posts, then creating an "Ask Me Anything" thread won't attract enough attention because you haven't appealed enough members to ask you some questions.

If you post a lot in other regular threads, then members will get to see what kind of person you are... then feel compelled to ask you some good questions. That's when it's a good time to create your own "Ask Me Anything" thread. :thumb:

Another thing, after creating your own "Ask Me Anything" thread... be sure to let it run its course. If people stop asking you questions, don't try bumping it. Let it "die out". A year later, you can bump it again since that's when there are new members who are bound to ask you questions and when new things may have happened to you where your answers might be different the next time around. :)
