What would you do if someone jumped in your car while holding a gun and your child is in the backseat of your car?....
 
I will just slam on my gas pedal and swerve to a post/tree/something that will make him falling out of my car (presuming he doesn't put on his seat belt).

Then I will tell my kid: "that is some nightmare you got there, honey! Go back to sleep and dream sweet..." and try to deny that the window is cracked/broken/gone.
 
Just hope it was a water gun-- :D so then I could kick the perpetrator out the car door!! :naughty:

Well, it would indeed be a very difficult situation...although, one word of good advice would be whenever venturing alone with a child in the back, is to keep your doors locked (even in the summertimes, relying on using the A.C., now if that A.C. doesn't work-- :whistle: )....but that's not what this thread is concerned with, the thing is do whatever the gun-toting twerp demands, it would be wise to follow along while searching for a way out, hence if the person isn't really paying attention to the direction you're driving, then find a way around to driving to the nearest police station, fire department, etc., and if all possible, to blare your horn...but then again, if he's threatening your child....then I would ask to let my child go and just 'take me'....

There are many various of options we could possibly do, and most options may not work in a given situation, the bottom line is to maintain coolness which can allow you to think clearly and find a way out of the situation without any incidents that could be tragic.

And ofc, *pray quietly*.... ;)

If that guys jumps in the car with a gun, I would press the eject button on the passenger seat and he ejects out of the sun-roof and flies in the sky far away....*aahhhhhhhhhhhh* crash....there...so I'm done. Let's go, honey....*drives away*

Hit a car that is in front of me, hope that driver will get out of the car and witness me, child and the gunman.
 
I would say to the perp: "Oh, look, there's Cheri with that hairy guy we saw on AD!!!" Perp looks and Tousi gives him a right uppercut into the middle of next week. :ily:
 
I will try to calm down and step on the gas to speed up to seeing if that guy can get out of the car and runs to Police Station to telling police what happened. IF that guy dont get out of the car, then I will speed up to getting a police chase after me or hit on car to having car accident to having people notice us.
 
If someone jumped in my car while my children are in the back-seat, I would think of my children first, and plea the gunman to let my children go, after my children get out of the car to the safely building or house, I would then honk my horn and scream as loud as possible, there is only a slim chance that the gunman will shoot me because firing a gun draws attention. He wouldn't want that, He would get out of the car and run by foot. Don't mess with the blonde. :nono:
 
I wud same thing as Gnarly's comment..

I don't give'em damn person attempt try to rob or hitched me, I'll dare slammed the pedal to go and slammed the brake pedal..

Get out the car... nearest the gas stn or store.. GO CALL 911... let other people can bring their car and park'em closer to mine.. will not let bad person escape.. :D
 
Well, I would say, I just kidnapped this baby and stole this vehicle... I have to run now. I have got nothing to lose, care to join and become an accessory?

A good question you got there, ^Angel^.
I always have my doors locked but what if I was parked and getting out of the car when someone jumps in. I would try to fight back but the gun might go off and harm me and my child. I would spray some mace on his face but that would anger him more and set the gun off. I guess I will do the same what some others said about slamming on the gas pedal and hit onto something in hopes the perp would fly out of the seat and knock himself out on the windshield.
 
Me too, I always lock my doors when I get in the car, and I do have mace spray too but I haven't been carrying that with me everywhere I go, maybe I should start doing that in case something like this does happen.....Thank you for reminding me of that....
