Feel better now?

Franklin Roosevelt
Teddy Roosevelt

I admire their courage and their ability to stare straight at obstacles unflinchingly and rise above it. Both led US out of despairing times and both brought America glory and defined true meanings of courage/determination to improve the country in many different ways.

Both were true leaders in American fashion.

JFK was the most charming and lovable President ever.

I wasn't born yet, But John F. Kennedy was my favorite, I read books about him, learned so much about him. He was the youngest President ever that died, which saddness me. He was also a Democrat. ;) He won world respect as the leader of the Free World, such as the war with the Soviet Union. He was also a war hero, for the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Demands for equal rights for African Americans became the major domestic issue during the Kennedy administration in 1961.

Yeah, I has a book about Jackie's life with him, also their children, too. I bought the book few months after Jackie's death. I'm interested to learn alot about Kennedys. Their life are excited and sad.

John died when I was 8 months old. My Grandma talked alot about him.

Kennedy families brings unluck. They killed due accidents, accidents, war etc. I know alot about Kennedy thru book.

Yes, I'm agree that Abraham Lincoln was the best Presidents of all. I learn some of his story.

I'd have to go with Dennis here:
Mr. Theodore Roosevelt, mostly because I love hiking and National Parks, and if it was not for him, there would be no national parks to hike in. Zion in Utah is among one of the first national parks set up by him.

FDR was also another excellent president. Helped the country get back on its feet after the Great Depression and all. Started the Social Security and WPA programs.

I dislike all presidents in the whole history of America. LBJ was a idiot and i hated him, but hes the only president that i kind of like because he donated money to NTID/RIT and opened the college for the deaf and disabled... I wouldnt be able to have a successful life if LBJ did not do that.

In 1964, Abraham Lincoln signed the charter authorizing the conferring of college degrees by the Columbia Institution for the Instruction of the Deaf and Dumb and the Blind, which eventually became Gallaudet University.

For all these conflicts in the world -- Israel/Palestine, India/Pakistan, Coke/Pepsi -- they should bring back Bill Clinton, because he's a great negotiator. How do you know he's a great negotiator? After everything he did, he's still married to Hillary.

You are absolutley correct! My edit time ran out, so I can't fix it. :(
Sigh....time just flies by....what's another 100 years? ;)

Which Prez has:

Described New Englanders as "nasty people."

Ordered that any soldier (during war) attempting to retreat or desert "will be instantly shot down."

Said, "It is absolutely necessary therefore, for me to have persons that can think for me as well as execute orders."

Lost more battles under his leadership than he won.

Enforced inoculation of troops despite opposition from many educated Americans.

Believed that he was on the side of destiny, or, in more arrogant moments, sure that destiny was on his side.

Which Prez?

Nope. George W.

George Washington of course, the 'losing more battles than won' gave it away.

I knew this one. :)

My favorite too. I just wanted to show that greatness doesn't mean perfection in everyone's eyes. True greatness doesn't depend on popularity or charisma.
