What should I look out for with this motorcycle?

The yamaha? I haven't even started with any real restoration work on it. I just had the battery charger on it for 4 hours and found a leaking fuel hose. It took me 5 minutes to fix it. It started up but when accelerating it dies. It smells like rotten gas (an easy fix).

sounds like easy fix. Could be jets being plugged.
 
I found what it could be. There is fuel spitting out of the plastic vacuum spacer block on the petcock. I have to take it apart and see if it is cracked. If it is cracked, I have to look around for a peice of durable plastic that is about a 1/4 inch and make a new spacer block.
