I don't know where to put this thread so anyway

I was wondering what kind of virus protection do you use...

Norton, McAfee, or others???

I use McAfee, it is okay but maybe thinking about getting different virus protection later whenever I have time.

well i using. AVG which is free download from website, which better than Norton and McAfee..
 
I'm using Norton AntiVirus but I also would like to know if there is anything that is better than Norton if there is.

I use clamwin free software. It's totally free at www.clamwin.com.. not a perfect virus scanner tough. I don't often use virus scanners..When I get into a safe website I often use no scanner.. In addition try some anti spyware like Ad-Aware SE Personal.. Scan your computer against spies after you have been out of the net..

Defender Pro 2005 (15 in 1)

I just got it few weeks ago and it seemed worth it.
 
Another one to check out

Another one is 'Spybot - Search & Destroy'. I think it's a free download (spybot.com?). A friend put it on my PC after an upgrade. I'm also using Norton Systemworks. It's easy enough for me to understand and use.
 
simple you can find good programs on list under www.majorgeeks.com like ITPjohn said that spybot - search and destory that is in there. it is good one...

i never had antivirus programs on my laptop and PC for 2 years til last dec i finally put norton systemwork 2006 on my laptop and PC. strangely i had something funny in my gut last november so i went ahead to buy norton systemwork before i wud regret. lol. nothing happened to my PC and laptop. since then, i dont have a plm. norton systemwork 2006 is a better program includes antivirus program that can take care of ur PC or laptop basically for you.
