Actually the power plant generate around 90% of their capacity. That is why we had the great Nor'Eastern black out. That is when they generate more than 100% of their capacity and that is where the point everything collapsed.
You got my point where I said, no matter how much people are trying to save, but the big picture is that the more we save, we end up generate MORE energy anyway! If we didn't create flourscent bulb, we won't need manufacture these parts for these bulbs, eh? Same concept with cars, we paid dearly for emission controls on cars than it was 30 years ago. These were to save gas, but we paid the price to have these gizimos installed. And of course it requires more manufacturing process and this requires more energy to start with ANYWAY! Its sad thing that people are so focused on small area of the problem rather step back and look at the whole picture.
Believe it or not, automobile emission is only fraction of the forest fires in the wild west produces carbon dioxide that causes global green house effect! I dropped my jaw when watching the TLC channel talking about seriousness of forest fires and its environment impact. Government said, we need to focus on automobile and other emission than this forest fires issues. sigh!
Again, thats my bottom line... NO EASY SOLUTION!

webexplorer said:Also, I believe that any electricity power plants produce too much electricity (especially waste of electricity) because our industrial factories have so much power to run the machines. This made me think that our era machines are still old fashion. We still have that damn little box for our lamps and printers. It is unbelievable!
