what is your opinion on global warning?

Actually the power plant generate around 90% of their capacity. That is why we had the great Nor'Eastern black out. That is when they generate more than 100% of their capacity and that is where the point everything collapsed.

You got my point where I said, no matter how much people are trying to save, but the big picture is that the more we save, we end up generate MORE energy anyway! If we didn't create flourscent bulb, we won't need manufacture these parts for these bulbs, eh? Same concept with cars, we paid dearly for emission controls on cars than it was 30 years ago. These were to save gas, but we paid the price to have these gizimos installed. And of course it requires more manufacturing process and this requires more energy to start with ANYWAY! Its sad thing that people are so focused on small area of the problem rather step back and look at the whole picture.
Believe it or not, automobile emission is only fraction of the forest fires in the wild west produces carbon dioxide that causes global green house effect! I dropped my jaw when watching the TLC channel talking about seriousness of forest fires and its environment impact. Government said, we need to focus on automobile and other emission than this forest fires issues. sigh!

Again, thats my bottom line... NO EASY SOLUTION!

Also, I believe that any electricity power plants produce too much electricity (especially waste of electricity) because our industrial factories have so much power to run the machines. This made me think that our era machines are still old fashion. We still have that damn little box for our lamps and printers. It is unbelievable!

Something has to give one way or another, and it can be this planet "relieving" its burden or it can be us relieving that burden. :)

Something is changing. And that is a consequence of something. Pollution, overuse/overconsuming, etc etc.. are certainly factors. We'll probably figure out the rest eventually, but it's common sense to do our parts as inhibitants of this lovely planet... right?

diehardbiker, my neighbor didn't give up his Van, you know those
van they made in 1970's...

How come they don't make those kind of van anymore
and only create minivans?????

Anyway... so what if 5 years later, everybody don't have SUV anymore
and you be the only one keeping a SUV for very long time, huh?

Oh um... yeah it is true that the Earth is warming, and there is
global warming, but it isn;t our fault that we cause that.
Because there were Ice Age long long long time ago during Cavemen years.
And we ain't responsible for all the Ice that are now melting.

So if North Pole's melt, we can all move up there... since
the Earth will be overpopulated with many many many people in USA anyway. :D

Hey Christians, we can all move to North Pole, and make sure it isn't
the land of the free... make sure it is the LAND of Religion and ban
all wicked people.

actually global warming is part of our fault, yes HUMAN's fault, because years ago when there was little knowledge of the ozone, we use CFC (?) in AC, refrigerate, hairspray etc etc, and that is VERY BAD for the ozone which cause us to have global warming. So basically it is our fault to begin with. Now there are more knowledge of it and more options of trying to reduce the issue.

I use Energy energy-saving lamp bulbs. It use only 10 volt... but we lit candles before the weather goes dark because we love candles... It´make us feel comfortable & romantic feeling... :)

Sorry it's my mistake... it's not volt but watt...

Yes it's only 10 watt to use...

I use to have 100 watt, then reduce to 60 then again to 40 watt... new Energy energy-saving lamp bulbs... use only 10 watt ... it is like 60 watt... but it's really 10 watt...

I'm addict to candles... I love to lit candles when we are relax to watch on TV etc...
