That is huge heat pump or AC for business, factory, or warehouse. Not for homes. I can recognized them easily.

Heat pump and AC are identical to each other, the only difference is that AC circulates one way while heat pump circulates two ways (Forwarding circulation for cooling and reversed circulation for heating).

oooo Hemi? Their mileage probably less than 8MPG

If it were diesel, it could hit 20 MPG easy.

Yes, there are units available that burns any oil including motor oil. Often garages has it and got free oil from oil changes.

The picture in OP is NOT oil heating. Its purely AC/Heater runs exclusively by electric, I don't see anything that runs from Natural gas or oil.

Should be a HVAC unit maybe waste oil burner (heater):dunno:

Agreed....I didn't see the waste used oil burner or heater around SoCal.. :hmm:

Don't think this truck was a Hemi or a diesel, but it was so cool to see Ram hard at work. My best guess is the guy won this at an auction place. Maybe he is opening a business.

If you look closer, there is HEMI on the side of the fender. If it is Diesel, you should see C on the side of fender, there isn't one.

Also the tailpipe is too small for Diesel. These Diesels tend to have bigger tailpipe. Mine is 3.5 inch diameter, close to 4 inch.

Oh add, I forgot that there is no Diesel on half ton pu truck (150, 1500), only 3/4 ton or bigger (250/2500 or higher).

I think due to possible that CA outlaw these heaters in Golden State. Many of stuff I see that said not available for California. You guessed it, its their EPA regulations.

Anytime you see a 3.7L V6 or 4.7L V8 motor in any Chrysler/Jeep. Do not buy...unless they are recently fresh engine work. The 3.7L and 4.7L engines are the famous for dropping intake valve seats even the intake valves are fine but lost the valve seats and can destroy the pistons and heads. I've been diagnosing misfire and overheating issues on the 3.7L engines, called out for valve jobs (for overheated problem), and replace used/rebuilt engines, the customers declined the repairs. One customer sold her 2003 Jeep Liberty to a towing driver. I miss the opportunity to buy it, no one tell me. Damn it.

That is a Trane six-stage air-cooled condensing unit. Similar to what you have outside of your homes, but much bigger, more complicated, and much more expensive. This one costs roughly $30K. Used mainly for commercial air handling units.

I wonder if those Hemi engines got better towing capability than 4.7 litre v8? Curious what the weight of this HVAC unit on that white Ram?

Should be more horse and some extra torque

The weight of that mammoth?, just wild guess between 2 and 3 ton

Because Hemi got 16 spark plugs.

(joke, It's about emisison.)

Because Hemi is 5.7L V8.

I dont like any V types due poor toque.
