Well my life took some crazy ass twists and turns...I ended up working for the Army after active duty in Law Enforcement. So at least I got to persue one of my interests as a kid.

Oh my. I remember the first time I answered to a teacher asking me, "what do you want to be when you grow up," "a nurse." Ha, the reason was that my birth mom was a nurse, and I wanted to take after her.

But as I grew up, my thoughts changed almost yearly! Let me list them.

Nurse
Teacher
Vet
Mathimatic Analysis
and finally, a secretary!

As kid, I used to dreaming want to be a cop, firewoman, movie star, nurse, houseparent at deaf school but somehow around 12 I was bit interested in politics after trying to be actress but it failed. Soon as my intrest in politics emerged, I was thinking about being a lawyer but law school say you have to be all A's and B's, instead so since I was 14 I worked on several political campaigns and been to legislature, and I was insantly become political celebrity, only in my home state among people who know me. I even ran for political office twice but I will keep on trying until I win. Altough I do have some fans.
 
Well when i was a kid, i was a wannabe singer, dancer, detective cuz i love to nose around! lol, a movie star, and ummm... oh gosh, dont remmy anymore! I wanted to be just about everything..lol you know how kids are! Now look at me, im just a mere government employee (damn!) :crazy: :lol:
 
When I was kid, and really wanted to be grown up and run business of resturant but never did..

I'm only run business... Breeder of Bulldogs. :)
 
When I was growing up, all I want to be in the Air Force or in the Army. I would like to fly the TomHawk, bu I can't, due to my hearing loss, didn't it meant that way.

I am working for the government for 3 years and I still love being a mom!!
 
I grew up always want to be Marine or Air Force but turn out it doesn't come true for me cuz I am deaf ... shrugh .... also I want to be Lawyer or Paralegal as i did take some classes of it and now i work for seceratary of states which is kinda of relate to legal trademark , election and etc ... which is good enuff for now but still not reach my goal ... I guess I just let the life flow through whatever it land me somewhere else to be worth better than nothing ...
 
I want to be clothes designer when I grow up...
I realized it´s expensive expense to study at college because my parents can´t afford to support me to fill my dream wishes.. :(

I hope to get the office job at Heathrow Airport after college then I get cheap discount to travel the world... :rofl: but they have no free job for me :(
but I´m lucky to get the office job to work for Police Criminal Unit in London. I enjoyed to work there for 5 years before married & move to Germany...

Now I got the office job & working for US Army caserne since 1986... I´m happy :mrgreen:

A good friend of my mother-in-law work there... She got a job for me there... :lol:

Aaaah, gotcha! :thumb: You got a really good caring family who would help you get a job with big government. My mom got a job for me there and I works there for 3 years. My mom works there for 15 years. Someday my mom will retire, and I am hoping to take her position. Her position is TWICE more than my salary - $49,500 a year. I only made $29K.

Oh cool! you also work for the government? I work for the Department of Defense here in Oklahoma..is that where you work or what dept?..I have worked here for 17 years now..my husband also works for the DOD, he has been working there for 26 years now!
 
After watched the Robotech series in 80's, I always want to be air force pilot.. I thought that deafies can join air force until I was approx 16 years and found out from my deaf history teacher that I could not (I did sent a letter to air force some years ago and confirmed what my teacher said). So my dream was crashed like a glass bowl on the kitchen floor. Hence "wanderer" in my AD title, I never know what I really want. I decide to go for Network/Internet position since it pay well but my heart has never really set in for that or any position.

Oh yes, being detective is my other dream too, deafies could not do that as well so I am out. Yes I did contacted them about it. That's few cons about being deaf (sorry everyone but I was frustrated about two dreams I had)

Words is that United Nation plans to install Internet Section for world-wide internet control in few years later, I am thinking of join there. To know the laws to secure myself from laws by become the law. Like Anyara-aphorisms quote, "To know your enemy, you must become your enemy".
