What do you prefer hearing people call you?

I am curious about what hearing person called you?
Some of people called me as Hearing Impaired which i don't like it. It is old-fashioned. Today i prefer to ask hearing poeple to label me as Deaf.
Like At job interview, bar, or anywhere that they called you as Deaf or Hearing Impaired, Deaf and Dumb or else when hearing person tell other hearing who are you as Deaf or Hearing Impairied.

I prefer that they call me Meg who happens to be deaf.

I rathers them calling me as "DEAF", not "deaf."

In all seriousness, Like what meg said. Call me my real name who happens to be totally deaf.

I once got involved in a fight with one guy who called my friend 'Deaf and Dumb'. I know, I know.. it is pretty stupid at that point but I sure as hell am not going to take it from that guy.

How do you feel about it?

I always found it annoying when the paper or whoever said 'Hearing Impaired'.

i prefer by my given name and say im DEAF -- i dont like "hearing impaired" cuz its VERY misleading IMHO

I know....hearing impaired just sounds so clinical, and it describes what we can't do. I prefer people describe me as hoh or deaf.
