What did you learn today?

Hope everyone will be safe and it won't be as bad, even though it is sad that some have already died from this.
 
today i learned that FIVE 16yrs old boys in the house at once makes me grateful I am Deaf! hehe. Its my cousins b-day.
 
I learned that cockroaches can live up to nine days without its head, so if you must kill one, do more than just cut it's head off!

Better yet, feed them to the chickens for their 20% protein content!:P

Smash them flat!! Just don't do what I did years ago. I was at my ex-bf's house in the bathroom. He had a hole in his window screen and the room filled with flying palmetto bugs (flying roaches) and I grabbed the nearest thing and started smashing the bugs. Turned out, I grabbed the bf's police issue night stick and smashed the brand new tile job in the bathroom along with those bugs. :laugh2: He got the bathroom redone and replace the whole window and screen. He wasn't even upset, since the previous tile installer used the wrong shade of blue, so I just took care of the demolition for him. :giggle:

Sorry for answering late.

I'm a cashier and I lost around $15 :( It's a lot of money here! I'm partially deaf going completely deaf soon. I'm not a trouble at work 'cause I can read lips and I try my best to understand everybody, but still, my supervisor told me I won't use the cash machine until I learn it... So basically I just watch the other cashier do his/her movements. It's boring :(

I get to anxious, impulsive or nervous, I don't know! Like Botss said before,

I'm not late deafened, but partially it's kinda the same, I prefer not to hear at all than trying to and not getting any answer :(
 
Just learned I get dizzy when my blood sugar drops to 71 or so.. Just got some O.J. and sugar cubes and hopefully this will pass soon as everything is spinning around me.

Hope you get better!! Diabetes is nothing to sneeze at as you already are way to familiar with.
 
I learned that it's not good to go outside with bare feet while it's cold out there. Brrrr!!

Well the dizziness hasn't passed yet but I'm hoping it will soon. I just ate a few more sugar cubes. I threw up in my kitchen sink and I had to clean the vomit out of it as I have no garbage dispoal. :ugh3:

I learned that even getting a Silver Medal wasnt good enough for USA..:roll: I think that's great!
