What did you do today? Part II

Crazy day at work and got it under control :)

Took MIL to Dr. Went to the grocery store and walked through the new house to see part of the drywall installation. They are finishing it tonight (hopefully).

Went to the eye specialist (my 3rd one)....have had my eyes dilated 3 times in the past week and a half....and for some reason, that makes me a little "high and giggly"....Stopped by McD's for an Egg McMuffin, but my doggie ate most of it....gonna get some new and much stronger glasses.

I have just totally veg'd and read a book. Have to go to store to get something for dinner, but that's all the energy I will expend today.

Swept and mopped the kitchen floor. Vacuumed and dusted the house. Cleaned the litter box. Cleaned the bathroom. Done 8 loads of laundry. Changed the sheets on my bed. Watered the plants outside. Walked through the new house. Did some knitting on a baby jumper. Now, I am on computer.

Early bird appts. again this AM (7:30)...at my sons high school...he wants out of the College Advanced Classes. No amount of persuasion has worked...so again more appts. next week. Am hoping the Principal can talk some sense into my teens head!

Why is that? Too much homework? :hmm:

Seriously, here's a good reason: Does he plan to go to college? If not, read no further. If he does, consider that most applicants and those that score low in entrance exams are put in remedial classes (meaning high school refresher classes) before being allowed to pursue their degree. If your son stays on track, he may avoid a wasted year on remedial status. Good luck!

Yes, he's college bound, a junior in HS with a 4.0 GPA (2nd in his class last year), and just turned 16 in July...Lots & lots of homework...he just recently "found" the girls!...:giggle:...He also can graduate early, but has chosen not to. Marcus is capable and is a self-taught guitarist/skateboarder...Hoping it's just a case of teenage rebelionism...and the Principal and class coordinators can find a good arguement to persuade him to think more wisely...time will tell....

Thanks!
