I'm looking forward to seeing my family again tomorrow at my brother in law Jurgen's house. We will be having roast pig again.

I'm looking forward to seeing my computer again on tuesday. Hard disk went kaupt last friday. Nothing could be saved so HD and software will have to be reinstalled.

I just watched the most beautiful scene from the show "Glee". It brought tears to my eyes.

It started with a Deaf signing choir signing the words from the Beatles song "Imagine". One by one, hearing choir members began to sing the lyrics, and to take their places beside the members of the signing choir. It ended with all the members of both choirs signing the song in ASL. Then the shot went to the teacher, and he was doing the "applause" sign in ASL. It was really beautiful, and I just ran into it by accident. I hope some of you got to see it as well.

Our family microwave which has served us for more than 10 years has finally died today and I lol'd
 
Your microwave sucks.

My mom still got her old one from 1979... and they use it everyday, and it still haven't died yet.

My mother-in-law still has her first one and it's like brand new!! Maybe it's because she never uses it except to store her Crystal Light Iced Tea and Splenda.:laugh2:
 
I am thinking that I should have taken pics outside earlier today because the fog was so thick! I dont think I have seen a thick fog like that in such a long time.

I am sitting here watching the Dallas/Oakland game with my dad, drinking coffee, and counting my blessings. :)

Oh I love being the main topic during family gatherings, even more so when I'm sitting across the room in plain view.

On the bright side, the wireless internet works so I can use my laptop at home now. YAY!
 
I just realized I'm having an 'emo' moment. My birthday is tomorrow and I have no one to celebrate it with. I'm turning 26 and I'd like something a little more than kool-aid and cake for a 6yo.

my bday was couple weeks ago and it was just a simple dinner with my family as usual for past several years. probably sounds like and looks like an emo moment compared to others.

After my divorce, I had a birthday and I was new in DC so I didnt celebrate it with anyone. It really sucked. Hope the next bday will be better! :hug:
 
Lets be emo together!! Everyone is married or happily taken on my side of town :)

I'm the pitiful 23 year old in the process of divorce and oh yeah, apparently my eating habits are questionable. Woohoo!

I have 7 dollars in my bank account :D

SSI thinks I am not deaf enough :) even better.
