OCALA, Fla. -- Actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced Thursday in a Florida courtroom to 36 months in jail on tax evasion charges, Orlando television stations reported.

Attorneys for the action asked U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges to limit the sentence during a hearing earlier in the day.

A jury found Snipes guilty in February of willfully failing to file taxes for three years, in which the government said he owed almost $3 million.

i saw on people articles about that and im sure he would pay taxes! because he is stars!
 
I won't be surprised if he serves a tiny percentage of his jail term. ;)
