weird thing with my email

Got a question.

I have a google email accoun t and have had no problems with it for as long as I have had it. I have Windows Vista and I use Internet Explorer. When I access my gmail account today, I can't get any of the pictures or things in the emails. With some of my newsletters for homeschool I really need the visuals. When I get to my MSN email and Yahoo email or even from my old employer, I get get everything, it's only with google today. Got any ideas on what's wrong and how to fix it? Could it be a google problem?

check if your IE is blocking Google pop-up

It's not. I turned off the pop-up blocker for Google. I can get pictures that individuals send me, but in the newsletters they have this little tiny square with a light blue and yellow something or other picture.

Sure they are marked as safe? Google mail makes me check as safe before they will open pictures.

right click the square and "show picture" should be an option. Select it and see what happens.
 
All of the places that send me the newsletter have been marked safe and I never had a problem for the last 2 years. What's really weird, I just went and tried again, and now I can see everything.

It must be the weather and the fact that I just paid the phone bill.

That's why I changed his account back to not being an administrator and then changed my password again. Have to change it monthly as the kids pay attention to my fingers enterring it.

Then teach your kids not to be nosy.

It's like when I'm standing next to someone at an ATM or sitting next to someone signing online. I don't stand/sit there and watch them. I respect their privacy by looking away.

I now change it while everyone is sleeping and change it every other day. Harder for me, but still needed. I have also gotten to the point that they don't use this computer much anymore. Just daughter to play her SIMs2.
