weird dreams?

I've had my share of weird dreams.

One time, I dreamed that I was falling from the top of a skyscraper. Just before I hit the ground, I woke up... and saw myself falling from my bunk bed.

Another time, I was planning on going out to rent a movie from Blockbuster Video. I walked upstairs and saw my parents watching television. I told them that I was going out and was going to my room to get my jacket first. It was probably 7 pm or so (don't remember the exact time). I walked in my room and laid on the bed (in order to reach my jacket that was on the other side), got my jacket, then walked out. I noticed that the lights were off, the television was off, and my parents were gone... to bed. I was like, "WTF!?" I checked the time. Apparently, when I laid on the bed to get my jacket... I fell asleep. It was so sudden that I actually slept for several hours before waking up as if I never slept. Yikes!

Im not sure if this happens to you guys but..
when i dream I have a very very high level of vocabulary that I wouldn't even think/normally use in life.

When i wake up and think my dreams over.. i go like WTF - I actually have that information in my head and i dont use it.

I've had a similar experience of losing time instantaneouly, though it was more of a daydream. In college, I settled on a concrete structure that held a palm tree within it. I started reviewing my material then suddenly noticed the day was dimmer, just like that. What transpired was that although I appeared I was reading, I subconsciouly fell asleep for 3 1/2 hours before waking and instinctly continued reading. Never had this happen again, but it shows strange things happen with a lack of sleep.

When I was little Burgess Meredith was the Penguin on tv. I think the words that went up said "Quack"! so that Penguin did quack.

That is exactly what I'm referring to. When jiro said quack, I thought of the Penguin from the old Batman show. I loved it because at the end of the show it had captions.

Yep. Me too. Jiro is way too young to remember non-captioned tv.
