Honestly, i hate those fucking buses. The only reason i want the strike to be over is so that pinkster can get to work easier, and school. I enjoy not seeing those huge pieces of shit slowly crawling along the road infront of me, cutting me off, starting, stoping wherever they want. Well, its summer, pinkster can bike to work, so i say viva la strike! Atleast until late fall when she cant bike, or buys a car, then recycle the damn buses.
 
I am not too happy with those MCI buses.. *sigh*..
I normally take buses with my baby Allen.. to dr office or go downtown st. paul... for my dr appts and dentists.. now its really getting difficult to get there.. since my van is no where to go more than 5 miles.. :/

I feel so bad for those people who ride everyday to work or school.. we pay them.. they should earn enough money or profit whatever.. all they complained about health care or wages.. f*ck that.. we suffer with our wages and health care too.. *cheese rice* (jesus christ) LOL..

Anyway.. I hope they will have it back on road.. ASAP! even though the gas prices will go up.. more people will be using buses or carpooling.. the bus co should be happy about gas prices go up.. they will make more business..

LOL... no comment.. but its much useful for me though.. I cant afford to buy better or new van.. I understand some people feel about that like what you said.. my man HATES them.. he drives everyday for his job.. almost got into accident with those stupid fat ass bus.. but for me.. no choice.. :/

yeah.. and the traffic in interstate highways are getting worse due to bus strikes.

if we got our bus back.. the traffic will be much better :D
 
I know it sucks using the bus as a mode of transportation, but it does have its uses. I don't have to worry about paying attention to traffic whilst driving. I can relax and read a book or newspapers on the bus. ;)
Can catch up on homework or write up paperworks on the way to either school or work.

I never complain about bus service really I have great patience when it comes to waitin for buses or trains to come I wud just wait and see if they show up or I wud be on pager chattin with friend til the bus comes it kills my time and the idea of usin pager works great :thumb:
 
Oh yea, I hate the fucking bus strikes!, sometime I take paratransit, airport taxi cab they have a wheelchair cabs and medic van to medical appts.

Last sunday, I went to cub foods store and after the shopping is done. I headed out, DAMN! Wind chill warning, I headed back to cub foods to have cubs foods customer service to call airport taxi for me, given my name and requesting a wheelchair cab, person told me "would you like make transfer to sedan car?" I say "Nope, the power chair cannot folds up and heavy weight." then she talked with taxi manager and told me ETA approx 20 mins. then I was waited for wheelchair cab didn't show up for over 1 hr!, I headed back to customer desk, call cab again to remind get me.. about 10 mins later customer desk called my name, and I came back to desk, "Yea?" the reps got called from airport taxi the cab is on the way ETA 8 mins. I headed out to door and finally the wheelchair cab is there! I got onto the wheelchair cab, the cabbie didn't turn the fare meter on, probably don't work and on the way home. Dropped off at my home, the cabbie saw I pulling my visa card out of my fanny bag, the cabbie say "no fare, you've been waited for over 1 hr at no charge and it's free ride.", I say ohhhhh! thank you very much!

I bet the taxi manager send a computer message to wheelchair cab van on-board computer, the cabbie might get a messege from the taxi manager "No Fare-Free Ride due to the customer overwaited".

I live right near the city, and like most other people i have not seen any traffic that is worse then before the bus strike. Roads and highways are flowing just fine, and not once have i got stuck behind a bus going 15-20 mph down a 30+ mph road, omg i love it FUCK THE BUSES! :fruit: makes me wanna do a happy dance of joy!

Then you remember how tired i am at the end of each day from having to have to bike all over the place, right? And then you think "i wish the buses wouldnt be on strike anymore!" :kiss:
 
I do hate bus strike too!!!! I am homebound and I only go school (my mom or neighbor gives me ride)... I am so getting pissed off on bus strike. My mom hates it too since she is tired of giving me and my sister ride. If you want to have your name listed on Supporters list as citizens, I will be more than happy to do that, just e-mail to wewantourbusback@yahoo.com and I will put your name on supporter list.
 
MTA bus strikers are voting on Thur/Fri (4/15 and 4/16) if they passed then buses could be rolling on Saturday or Sunday..

Hello MTA riders, I checked on the news, they said all of buses will back on the road on Monday (4/19)!!

72% Approved and 28% Opposed, the 45-days strike finally OVER!!!!
