My name is Kendra I an 24. I am hoh. I been this way all my life. I dnt know sign language.. but I would love to learn... its been difficult for me to b around regular hearing people. It is frustrating trying to hear conversations...and make out wat people are saying... .. so I think its time to meet people that feel where I am coming from... I am the only hoh person in my family so I feel like no one really understands....I am trying to meet new friends and gain insight of how it feels to meet people such as myself... so please dnt

kendra, do you have a college degree? Maybe you could go to NTID and become fluent in ASL....believe me there are a ton of hoh folks who feel like they wish they'd been able to learn ASL early on.
