Is it fair to warn people about you?
And won't let you forget about your past mistakes?
Are most people so perfect?
If you hurt someone, and you apologize or didn't know any better,
is it okay to ruining your reputation and hurt you for the rest of your life?
Revenging you, because you pissed them off?
Is it okay to punish you forever?
Should you have 2nd chance?
If you get in a fight with someone, and that someone said you are
bipolar or dangerous or a trouble maker, and warn people to
stay away from you, is that the right thing to do?
Do you learn from your mistake, and try to do right by improving yourself?
Do people keep saying you don't change but you tried your best?
And if you change, do people still say you're a fake and still the same person?
Is that fair?
:dunno:

That's the problem. Some people aren't very friendly to be flexible and try to overlook the problems. They should try to make their own conversation and make friends with each other in despite of their difference. Some refused to accept others as friends, because they dwell on the past without forgivin'. It depends on individual who you are talkin' to. :)

By the way, good thread ! :thumb:

I have been through some of the things mentioned above and I am always misunderstood. Now I just relax and enjoy life but do not let debate get way too personal.

Very hard.

One man went to jail for molest his two daughters, and served his time there.
Will I trust him and give him second chance?
Will I let him to babysitter my daughters?
Should I warn others about his past?????
Some said Leopard don't change his spot?

Thinking about it. Its so hard to stay neutral.

I will try to forgive them if they apologized and serve their volunteering to any charity functions etc.

In cirtain situations yes you should forgive there past and trust them again or in your words give them a second chance. In other such as child molestors I dont think so. Child molesting and raping turns into a sickness very fast and put in the situation and having the ability they could very well do that again. But What was the origanal post about if you dont mind me asking?

Depend on what?

Example about Tamara's post over sex offenders. I would say YES.

I agree with SB_GB_4ever's comment. (post # 6)

And won't let you forget about your past mistakes?

See above... Depend on what?

Like what SB_GB_4ever said.

Are most people so perfect?

I would say "Nobody is prefect", not "most people".

If you hurt someone, and you apologize or didn't know any better,

Yes I would do that if I realized that I make mistakes but for sex offenders are different story.

is it okay to ruining your reputation and hurt you for the rest of your life?

Yes, I'm agree that it's not okay.

Revenging you, because you pissed them off?

I would consider it as immaturity and childish if anyone revenge against you.

Is it okay to punish you forever?

What do you mean? What should anyone punish you forever?

I would say that crimes deserve their punishment which it's good enough but forever?

Can you clarify clear what you try to ask us question here when it's not about sex offenders/murders etc.?

Anything except sex offenders/murders do not deserve to being punish forever.

Should you have 2nd chance?

Sure, why? It's great that you admit and improve your mistakes.

If you get in a fight with someone, and that someone said you are
bipolar or dangerous or a trouble maker, and warn people to
stay away from you, is that the right thing to do?

No, if I have problem with a person then is between a person and me, not anyone.

Do you learn from your mistake, and try to do right by improving yourself?

Yes

Do people keep saying you don't change but you tried your best?

It's sad to know that anyone didn't give you 2nd chance to improve your mistake. It means that they are closed mind who haunts your mistake past. We have to accept the fact and move on our life EXCEPT sex offenders.

And if you change, do people still say you're a fake and still the same person?

If people still see you as past is their closed minded instead of open their mind and accept your 2nd chance.

Is that fair?

This life is alway unfair and fair, we have to face like this... :dunno:

I hope my answer satisfy you. :)

ru asking real life or related this site ?

Which do you speaking refering?

Neighborhood 'Child Rapist' Signs :deal: Blamed For Sex Offender's Suicide
Authors Of Signs Could Face Jail Over Flyers

POSTED: 12:01 am EDT April 22, 2005
UPDATED: 11:07 am EDT April 22, 2005

Residents in a Ocala neighborhood could face charges after a convicted sex offender apparently committed suicide in despair over signs :deal: labeling him a "child rapist" posted in his neighborhood, according to Local 6 News.

Bright yellow, laminated signs :deal: displaying Claxton's picture, date of birth, address and the words "child rapist" hanging on power poles in his neighborhood. A county commissioner proposed posting such information in the community but Sheriff Ed Dean rejected the idea.

Clovis Ivan Claxton, 38, who was convicted of sexually assaulting a child in Washington in 1991, had lived at 3230 SE. 45 Street in Ocala for about two years.

Tuesday, Claxton noticed bright yellow, laminated signs :deal: displaying his picture, date of birth, address and the words "child rapist" hanging on power poles in his neighborhood. A county commissioner proposed posting such information in the community but Sheriff Ed Dean rejected the idea.

After seeing the signs :deal: , Claxton called the sheriff's office and said that he felt "extremely scared and feels that people in the neighborhood are now out to possibly hurt him."

"Once he made these type statements our deputies took this man into custody under the Baker Act law and transported him to a local mental health facility for evaluation," Marion County Sheriff's Capt. Denis Strow said. "He was later released."

Tuesday morning, Claxton's parents found him dead of an apparent overdose with one of the child rapist flyers :deal: by his side.

Jane Claxton blames County Commissioner Randy Harris, who proposed the flyers :deal: , for her son's death, according to a report.

"Just don't get on the bandwagon," she said. "There's going to be other (deaths) if Randy Harris has his way. He hasn't been in trouble for 18 years, and he's branded for life."

Harris said sex offenders need to take responsibility for their actions.

"I don't blame his death to the signs :deal: ," he said, adding he was undeterred in his quest to alert people to sex offenders living in their neighborhoods.

Dean said it is an example that police work should be left to authorities.

"We need to keep calm, do the right thing," Dean said. "Not go overboard with it. Protect our children. Use all of the resources we can but not stir a community up to a frenzy."

Claxton's death follows the high-profile arrests of sex offenders in the separate killings of two Florida girls less than seven weeks apart. State lawmakers have responded by passing a bill to require lifetime supervision of some child sex offenders.

State law allows for flyers :deal: to be printed and distributed, Local 6 News reported. But, altering the signs or flyers is against the law.

Claxton's address had been added to the top of the flyer :deal: along with the words "child rapist."

"It is a violation of the law," Strow said. "And should we find who perpretrated it, I'm sure it is a case that would be reviewed by the state's attorney office to see if they wish to pursue it."

The person responsible for the flyers :deal: faces up to 1 year in jail.

The sheriff's office is investigating and an autopsy was scheduled for Friday.

Marion County is located northwest of Orlando and has more than 600 registered sex offenders.

Too bad. He molested a kid, so he has to be labeled for life for the safety of other children. He should have been in prison for the rest of his life, but he wasn't. So the other people have to do that.

There is a sex offender in my apartment complex. I WANT HIM TO BE LABELED so the children know to stay away from him and so the parents know that he is there in this complex.

I despise sex offenders.

Here is a rant about sex offenders that I wrote a couple of years ago in my blog:

RANT - Sex Offenders

I think all sex offenders (even first timers) should be sterilized and castrated and then put on an small island in the middle of no where. They shouldn't be allowed off the island ever and they should not be allowed to receieve ANY visitors ever, either. The island would have huge tall barbed wire fences with 387459489753948573498754975349857948 volts of electricity running through them so that if an escape was attempted they would be fried to death. They should NOT be allowed to have ANY contact with children, ever. There should be daily searches for all kinds of kiddie porn. NO children will be allowed on the island ever. It will be only inhabited by sex offenders only, and they will be the only ones on the island, NO one else. They should be left to fend for themselves. NO cable or regular TV, NO internet, NO alcohol, NO women, NO porn of all kinds, NO nothing. They are SAVAGES. They deserve the worst in life. They should have lobotomies. They should be subject to all kinds of testings and research so that no one else will have to suffer in order to find medical or scientific miracles. They should be guinea pigs. They should be tortured at any cost. They should be allowed NO luxuries of any kind. They are BEASTS!

End of rant.

i agree with u Lucia!!!

sex offenders aren't really dangerous... because most of them are not murderers.

did any of you guys ever lie?

What if someone put a label with your address and say, "Liar lives here"?

Or, "He gave me AIDS, stay away from this bastard."

Would you like for someone to do that to you, whatever wrongdoing you did?

Or, "The Bitch gave me Genital Herpes, and live next door to you." :deal:

Sex offenders are dangerous because they have hurt the kids! You don't know what some of us went through! How dare you say that they arent dangerous! Because you are a guy? Please.. GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA BECAUSE YOU NEVER WENT THROUGH OR YOU JUST BELIEVE THEIR STUPID STORIES. I believe that sex offenders repeat their mistakes too many times and never learn their lesson. And DAMN RIGHT.. they should be having their dick cut off and get steriziled and throw in jail FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

i think all of those people who commited crimes have mind plms .. nothing will help them not even with medications, counesling and etc.. they will keep doing it over and over again and again.. even tho they apologized but they will keep doing it cycle after cycle. whether we like it or not.. nothing will help them.. i know its sad but its true.. sighs..

what about the people who were falsely accuse of being a sex offender?

what about the sex offenders who only did it once and are cure?

what about a guy aged 21 who had sex with a girl aged 17, labeled as sex offender?

Is it fair to punish them harshly? Just because other sex offenders are worst?
